The only negative that I encountered was the plastic connector of the dust bag was difficult to lock into the pins on the sander, but at least the bag fits tightly. The sander itself seems to function quite well.

I bought this about a week ago on-line and had it sent to store. I have used it several times on furniture. It takes awhile to remove finish, but for me i dont care. It’s lightweight and easy to use.

I ran this sander for about 1-2 hours a day 3 days a week. This is my 3rd B&D sander in about 16 months and it quit yesterday. It did what I needed but after 3 of them (about $100) my next one will be a DeWalt or Milwaukee. The B&D should be fine for lighter projects but I was probably asking too much using them on 100 year old barn wood.
