The package said can only use on drywall but I was able to use on paneling, I just made a hole in the paneling the same size as the pin on the back and it worked perfect! I aligned on one wall and the laser went all the way across the wall and on to the side wall so all the pictures were perfectly aligned, it was very easy to use and couldn’t beat the price, very happy with the ease of use and results, I would highly recommend, the hardest part was to open the package. I give it an A++

Priced well and easy to use especially for hanging pictures. I would not pay to much attention to other write ups. Taking off the magnet and using one hand to hold laser and other hand got marking location. I own two of these one at each house.

I’m hanging stuff left and right now. It’s a great value for $15. Nothing commercial grade obviously but if you’re looking to mount a TV or picture frames evenly this guy will do the trick for your average DIYer.

I had used mine for just about everything in my home until the pin broke then it was virtually useless. If does have a magnet so if i need the level for something metal I’ll be set. Went online and found a replacement part but with shipping in the end buying a new one at my local store was cheaper…

Best product ever!!! It works great. It sticks in the soft part of the wall like the sheet rock then aligns perfectly. The only con to this product is that the nail could eventually bend leaving you nowhere to stick it into the wall. Other than that as long as the nail is there it is a good product.
