The home was basically built in the woods with the harshest conditions. I have used this unit at least 5 times now only as a vacuum and I am very surprised at how durable and effective it is. The power is great, if they made it more powerful it would pick up rocks. It picks up twigs, leaves, etc. I am surprised it is still working after what I have put it through. It has clogged only a handful of times and only with wet leaves and sticks. Dry leaves are a breeze. Tips:See the image. Like others the plastic coil came off the end. I put 5 wood screws in and now it is going nowhere. Make sure the wood screws are not too long or they will help clog the coil. Others have had issues separating the plastic coil when it is time to empty the leaves. This is because it gets dirty. Carry a small ball pean hammer if you must. I am a male so am able to jiggle it off. You don’t necessarily have to strap to your back. Many times I just leave the bag on the ground when using.I figured I owe it to Black and Decker to write this review and post the picture because they engineered a very good product. Any drawbacks are managable and this is well worth the purchase.

Used it on my .75 acre yard that have 7 tree’s on it. The blower works very well and the mulcher works perfect too. The only issue i have is mulcher is too slow for me which is no big deal because its a portable machine. Other then that I am happy I got it and will recommend this to friends.

Have had this less than a month, and have been satisfied with the results and how cool I look using it. Being a baby boomer I look for value and durability. I saw this vacpack a couple years ago but waited until the one I owned at the time went to its final resting place. I am glad I was able to locate it and purchase it.

I love my new sweeper/blower. It is an answer to a yard-cleaning prayer. The bag is very easy to empty. Even though I’m 6’3” tall (and in my 60s), it is comfortable to use. I DO wish they sold a tube extender for those of us who are taller than average, but it’s not a necessity.

Product performs very well at the price point. The only issue is the packing of one of the blower extensions within the large upper vacuum extension, with no mention whatsoever in the instructions. In using the vacuum configuration first, I did not notice the part within the upper vacuum extension, which was instantly damaged by the fan blades at startup.

We were able to vacuum up the live oak leaves without taking the dirt with them and put at least twice as much in the bin as without the mulching feature. It suited our needs perfectly and we are very happy with this product.
