This 16 in. Electric Hedge Trimmer features SAWBLADE at the end of the blade that cuts large branches up to 1 in. T. Its built-in T-handle and full-length trigger means less fatigue and more control while cutting. Overall, it is ideal for routine maintenance of small hedges and shrubs.

This product is very light weight, which makes it easy to use on all bushes and hedges! We have 3 acres of land, which is a huge task! Since I have bought this trimmer it’s been a life saver. I am very pleased with the Black + Decker 16 in. SAWBLADE™ Electric Hedge Trimmer! The design is very modern and it’s even easier to use compared to my previous trimmer. I can effortlessly trim hedges over 1 in thick and the cuts are clean and very little mess. The motor starts effortlessly and is very powerful for heavy-duty yeardwork. This Hedge trimmer came as described, however the saw blade is a disappointment . I expected it to be more efficient, It works well but not the results I was hopping for . I believe the straight blade will probable work just as well. I have trimmed several yard hedges with it and have had good results.

I bought this item because of the reviews stating how lightweight it was and easy to handle. I was very pleased with the results. The guard piece as others mentioned did have a tendency to fall off so I really did not bother placing it back. The trimmer was easy to handle and I actually enjoyed trimming my hedge.

I’ve only used this once so far. Out of the box the trimmer didn’t work. Further investigation showed that some of the bolts on the blade had been overtightened. I loosened them slightly and it worked on the day I needed it to, but that has me concerned about its overall build quality and durability.

Bought this hedge trimmer on the recommendation of a family member and also from actually using their trimmer on my hedges as then I didn’t own one. I was very surprised at the way it felt and it’s ease of use. It’s not real heavy and can trim up a decent sized hedge in a matter of minutes. Battery is decent for a lithium and only had to change once during the day and trimmed about 20 overgrown hedges. Blades are nice and sharp, I don’t believe they have ever sharpened the cutting bar. I recommend this product to the DIY or even the professional business owner. Great product!!
