I got tired of the yearly maintenance involved with gas mowers, so I bought this Black and Decker corded electric mower.I ordered this 3 weeks ago, shipping was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic – which is understandable. The grass in my yard grew to about 7-8″ while I waited for this to arrive, but it was no problem at all for this machine. I did have to mow slower than I did with my gas mower, but it got the job done. The bag filled up pretty quickly with the taller grass (it was also pretty damp and heavy) so I removed the bag and let the grass mulch, and then used a rake to clean it up. I did another pass with the bag attached, and it was smooth as butter. I recommend this for small-medium sized yards, but for anything larger I would go with at least a 20″ cut radius.

Love this sturdy little unit. The narrow cutting field is accurate and maneuverable, and the machine is amazingly light weight, grass catcher optional. This mower is a replacement for an almost identical model that I ordered online three years ago and totally wore out. Assembly was quite easy, although I had to ask a neighbor for help with the screws, which were balky. I have a very large lawn and I could not ask for better.

Perfect mower for small yard. We have a very small yard and don’t need a mower any larger. This mower is light weight but has the power to push through tall thick grass.The electrical cord is held in a clip that helps prevent disconnection. The on/off controls are on both handles. All in all this mower will do the job as long as the operator is not attempting to over do it.It’s the right tool for my yard and I like it!
