Super handy to have. Light weight and small. Good on small jobs and heavy jobs. The line is easy to replace and I have never had to go in and reset it in the middle of weed wacking. Black & Decker stands behind their products. I have had a good experience with warranty replacements in the past and my neighbor has been using Black&Decker for a longer time and more frequent and said they were good about honoring their warranties.

This is a great trimmer! Strong motor, great string span, and the handle is a must. Changing the spool is super easy and quick. The only down-side is that it is a small spool so you don’t get as much use out of one as with others. But Home Depot keeps the replacements in stock so grabbing a new one is easy. I bought four extra spools just to have on hand. Would definitely recommend this product.

Had a B&D trimmer for years and just packed it in. This new one is very powerful and although I’ve only used a couple of times so far it’s great . If it lasts half the time my old one did it’s a good buy for the price.

When the tool is running it is fine but the string is constantly cutting short and then running out. For my small area I go thru at least half the roll of string in one cutting. Extremely fristrating.
