I bought the POWERCOMMAND Electric String Trimmer/Edger with EASYFEED about a month ago and the EASYFEED works great. It trims well and the trimmer is not too heavy which makes it is to maneuver. I only rated this a three because the handle on the shaft will not stay locked in place. The lock on the handle is spring loaded and the vibration causes it to release allowing the handle to change position. I have managed to overcome this but Black and Decker should offer a free fix for this problem and stop selling the trimmer until they have resolved this flaw.

I replaced a Craftsman edger with this model because the Craftsman line kept jamming up. This trimmer works much better. I don’t use the edger function very often as it seems a little difficult to maintain a straight edge (a guide attached might help).

I used this Trimmer on 2-occasions and it worked fine, except for the constant breaking of the String Trimmer Line. The OEM manufacturer trimmer line gets used up VERY quickly on a VERY small front yard.I just bought Rino-Tuff with the same diameter “0.065” with a twist”, and it lasted longer, than OEM.Next time I’ll see if 0.08″ line fits the String Trimmer and see if it lasts longer than the 0.065″.
