I been using it for a month and yes like it very much for weeding, for edging is so so, it would help a lot if it had a guide to keep it going straight like on the edge of the sidewalk, also I liked the easy feed feature.

It works OK… I would have given it 5 stars if it had a larger spool that held a lot more line. You have to change the spool too often.

I’ve been using electric string trimmers for 30 years. This is the first one that has ever worked properly, in allowing me to advance the string without taking it apart, just by pressing button. All the other “automatic” string trimmers which are supposed to automatically advance the string by one method or another get jammed and require disassembly after each 60 seconds of use to loosen the string. I was hoping that if I kept buying electric string trimmers, because I hate gas, they’d eventually make one that works, and this one does. I hope that future string trimmers use something like this design. The single spool design is also much easier to change (or fix) than dual spool designs, except that the spool requires a lot of force to remove. And it trims as well as any other too, with more control generally, and has smooth motor.
