It works fine once I get it to start. In fact, I still have trouble and keep hitting different buttons until it starts.I’ve not tried the ice crusher feature yet, which was the main reason I purchased this model.

We use this blender a few times a month to make frozen daiquiris. This evening it leaked all over our counter. At first we thought the rubber was missing, but that’s not the case. We searched online for a reputable replacement part, but cannot locate one. Do they even make them? Signed…no daiquiris until we get a new blender

We didn’t need a fancy blender and I thought this one would do the trick. It did for a little while but after less than a year and very sporadic uses the base of the jar cracked and broke, rendering the blender unusable.

This blender does ok with things that are easier to blend, and I like that the pieces can come apart for thorough cleaning, but I ended up needing to upgrade for a larger pitcher.

Having bought this item strictly on the name of Black and Decker, I anticipated more from this product. However, it’s true that you get what you pay for. The product (plastic) is not as good as others made out of glass and with more motor features. I probably will use this for a while and then purchase another with features and quality I’m accustomed to.
