This is my first and will be my only blower/vac.It does an incredible job at picking up and mulching my leaves.I cut 15 full size lawn bags down to 8 using this!!It mulches the leaves very fine and saves me time and bag space.I can easily get 2 to 2 1/2 bags in ONE bag now using it versus just loading the bag off the lawn.I am so pleased with it saving me so much more time and effort.

I haven’t used the blower but, the vacuum does a fabulous job! Also, as it mulches the leaves, it means that what used to fill 5 or 6 bags, now fits in 2. The only problem that I found is vacuuming leaves over small pebbles, as the vacuum is strong enough to suck them up with the leaves. Overall, extremely happy! Less time. Less toil.

Where the lower tube attached to the vacuum part there was a lot of dust coming through. It is not a tight flush fit. I was covered in leaf dust till I was done using it. Poor design. Have an old Black N Decker leaf vac and did not have an issue with it.

Not yet… The unit was working acceptably. The motor stopped working in the middle of operation. It was 115 F in Phoenix. After allowing the unit to cool down, it never restarted. Will return it and see if I have the issue again.

This replaced my old version from the last century. The conversion from blower to vacuum is sooo simple, much better than my old version. Having new roter made it much better, too. Only downside is I’d like to have a spare roter/fan blade whatever, but no way from instructions to find that out.

Bought this after most leaves were gone. My 20-30 year old Craftsman 12 amp. finally burned out. Used the vacuum feature around mulched beds for final cleanup. Worked well. A little bit of time getting used to the unit stopping if a small chip of cypress mulch hitting the plastic impeller. Then, had to figure out to tap the tube on the ground to get it to start, just not used to that. I did put the bag away for winter, and used the blower for blowing out garage, and driveway. It has plenty of great power, the 12 amp motor is just as good as my Craftsman was. I love the 230 MPH blower, compared well to my Craftsman. Only con I could find, was the handle grips and balance feel different, and it does not seem as well balanced in my hands for long time use. But, after research, seemed like the most powerful, and best cost, compared to all the others. Definitely recommend, since no more Craftsman available. I also bought in the last couple years, the B&D electric string edger, and a 22″ rotating head hedge trimmer, love them all. B&D best priced and work well.

I bought this for mulching as I already have a blower. I gave this a 4* because I am short, so it’s a bit awkward to use and because it doesn’t do very well mulching pine straw. I know it’s for leaves but my yard has leaves and straw. My sister had an older model she loves but it’s no longer available, so I decided to give this model a try. I would definitely recommend this item.
