This is a great little coffeemaker as long as you use paper filters. The included mesh filter is basically useless, as there are no mesh or hole in bottom. This makes for grounds in pot. Overall good purchase.

I purchased this product because my previous coffeemaker stopped working. I like everything about this product. My old coffeemaker had a valve to prevent coffee from dipping down when no glass jar was in place, but it did not always work right. I prefer the new machine without this valve so I can use any container or mug to collect coffee while it is brewing. The glass jar has a wide enough opening to pour coffee without spilling any.
