The most important functions are here in this coffee maker…the coffee is great and the brew strength selector for customizing is a wonderful plus, not to mention programmable and a carafe with a smooth pour. Those who exist in the left handed world might be surprised that any coffee maker today does not have the carafe measures on both sides as well as the right side only markings of the water basin on the maker. This is a right handed discriminate coffee maker by design. We can all cope (hehe!) but when you go to fill your carafe with water and cannot see the measure marks, you’ll know what I mean. For those relying on this as a clock at night, you will be disappointed that the digital clock does not light up, so keep that in mind. For me, making coffee that tastes great was the goal and this fits the bill….

This is a very good coffee maker. I have had several fails but this continues to meet our coffee needs. I’ve had Buns, Mr Coffee, off brands. This one does what I want…makes great coffee. It is a standard of a good coffee maker. I have a grinder. The coffee maker with the grinder failed too soon. I’ve had the makers with hot water ready to brew but they wasted my presious coffee that I roasted and ground. I’ve a French press, a vacuum pot. None can beat this one. It isn’t cool looking but the coffee is great. Who care how it looks if the coffee is great?

This coffee maker totally does the job and I have nothing negative to say about it. It brews up to twelve cups which is perfect for my family since we are all big coffee drinkers. It has a auto brew button to set the time of brewing which is a plus. Buttons on the front are super easy to figure out. the level of water is on the side and it is accurate. love the sleek design and also the coffee maker is not too big and looks nice on my counters.

I have now had this coffeemaker for over 5 yrs and going strong. I have enjoyed the options it offered. However, like a lot of reviews, the carafe recently broke. If this is a B & D sight, why are all the questions referred to another company. Shouldn’t a carafe replacement be a simple fix?

This is a great unit. It’s our second. First one lasted a good 7 years. Reliable and simple.

I received this coffee maker as a gift and am quite happy with it with one exception. The display is not back-lit which makes it very hard to see the screen, even in good light. I have to use a small flashlight in order to set the clock or timer and to see for sure that the delay brew is on or off and to see the strong indicator.

I purchased this for a Laundromat, I know it is for consumer use not industrial or commercial use. It is used everyday and has been working great. Definitely a great value for the cost. The only problem with it is the carafe dribbles when it is filled to the 12 cup level.

Love this new coffee maker. Spent a few more $ after going through 2 Mr. Coffee’s in less than 2 years. Simple and easy to use. I would purchase again.

This is a great coffee maker! I have been very pleased, however, I am in need of a replacement carafe. I have looked online and tried buying one in stores but can’t seem to narrow down a perfect fit. Where can I find a replacement? If anyone has any tips, that would be great! Thank you!

Makes good coffee – can set to strength that you want. But most of all it has a carafe that pours without spilling!!!! Please don’t change that. It has a wide, deep lip spout. Pours great even when you’re half asleep in the morning. Yay

I received one as a house warming gift along with filters and coffee. Couldn’t wait to brew my first pot only to find it didn’t come with a coffee scoop. The person who gave it to me was equally surprised saying they’ve never bought one that didn’t come with one. So I have to wait to try it until I get a scoop.

I’m not understanding the negative reviews. I have owned this coffeemaker since 2012 and have had zero problems with it. I replaced it a few weeks ago only because I felt like after 4 years of use I should probably consider buying a new coffeemaker … and I bought the exact same model. This coffeemaker makes a great cup of coffee quietly. If you keep the basket’s drip mechanism clean it’s truly non-drip. I also like the look of it, just enough stainless to be attractive but not so much that it glares. I feel like buying another one as backup that I can pull out in 4 years, just in case B&D doesn’t make it any more. 🙂 I totally recommend this coffemaker. Just want to add that B&D shipped the coffeemaker very quickly.

I looked high and low for a coffee maker with a removable water reservoir. My roommate is not very good at cleaning out the coffemaker regularly, so I needed a machine that was easy to clean and would withstand her rough use. It’s been over a year now and I am delighted to report that my Black and Decker coffeemaker has performed perfectly every single day!

It will get you by especially if your like me and you have to have your morning coffee or you will bite someone’s face off (not literally) It’s not there greatest coffee maker but I have had worse. In my opinion it needs to go down a few bucks.
