Works well and coffee is nice and hot. However initially, the coffee it made was terrible. The directions recommended running two clear water runs first, but it took more like two weeks of clear water runs before the coffee stopped tasting like plastic. It also takes a bit more coffee than our last pot to get the strength we want even on the “strong” setting. Other than those two things, the pot seems like a good value.

I received this coffeemaker as a Christmas gift (Christmas 2018) and my carafe has a crack on the side. I always make a full 12 cup carafe, but now can only make 4 cups. I’m really afraid to use it out of fear the heat will make it crack more. I have been on Walmart, Home Depot, Target and even Amazon to find a replacement. I shop online as I am disabled and don’t get out much. Can you please tell me where and how I can buy a replacement carafe? I absolutely love this machine! Thank you in advance for all your help.
