The only downside to this product that I’ve noticed up until now is the detachable handle on the filter basket. It’s probably just because I’m clumsy, but It seemed like it would come off at inopportune times when emptying the filter causing me to spill the coffee grounds. So now I just hold the entire basket instead of using the handle.

This coffee maker is the best in this price range, in my opinion. I was surprised by the sleek look and quality of the product. The carafe can be removed during brewing without spilling a drop. There is an option to increase coffee strength by pushing a button. This allows you to use less coffee and save money. The water temperature is hotter than my old unit so I have to be careful when I take that first sip. I have used the programmable option, which works great. I am pleased with my purchase.
