Just LOVE this machine!

Have only used it once but it did the job for my small yard. I like that the batteries are interchangeable with my B&D trimmer and sweeper, and that the extra battery can be stored onboard so it’s right there when you need to change it.

I replaced my aging Neutron with the B&D after I moved to Oregon. I am impressed with the B&D handling wet grass. The Neutron would plug up and need cleaning frequently. One battery does not make it the whole way, thank goodness for the onboard spare. I really hate giving a review on a new product as this as long term durability can’t be measured. So far I like the B&D better than the Neutron.

THIS IS MY SECOND BATTERY OPERATED MOWER. THE FIRST COMPANY WENT OUT OF BUSINESS SO I WENT WITH A WELL KNOWN NAME BRAND AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS MOWER. THE QUIETNESS AND EASE OF MOWING IS ABOVE THE REST!!! I WILL STAY WITH BLACK & DECKER FOREVER. I OWN A BLACK & DECKER WEED EATER AND IT IS FANTASTIC ALSO. CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT THEM. MAKES LAWN CARE ACTUALLY ENJOYABLE!!!

I bought this item because I was frustrated trying to start my gas powered mower. I am impressed that one battery will cut the entire backyard. The mower does lack some power, but the weight and ease in cutting grass now more than makes up for it. Note, there is not enough power to bag leaves.

Bought this at the local B & D Service Center to replace a 36v cordless whose control module had broken. First use, mower mowed well but battery didn’t last more than 10-15 min. Second battery took too long to charge and second battery doesn’t hold charge between uses. Very poor replacement for 36v batteries except much lighter.Power is adequate to cut grass if not too thick, but bogs down in thick grass. Old 36v stowed better because it would stand on it’s own when folded. This one won’t. This mower bags much better than the 36v and mulches well also. I find myself wishing I had bought the eGO 56v.

The lawn mower comes with two batteries. I can do my whole yard with one. The mower is much lighter and easier to push than my last mower. It is nice not to deal with gas and oil. The ability to fold up the handle with pressure bars makes it easy to store in a small space.

The only problem I’ve found with this product is that the attachment of the cord to the top of the handle is too tight. But it is great to use this mower with stringing electric cords behind me. And having two batteries is fantastic.

I bought the mower to mow on sloping ground. Very light battery lasts as long as I need it to. Folding handle is a good feature. Easy height adjustment. Haven’t it enough to rate it 5 stars

I have owned this mower for over two years. It has worked flawlessly as a “trimmer” mower. It cuts cleanly and is strong enough for my NC lawn/garden trimming. It is very easy to push and to move around my 2-acre yard. This is one of several 40v products that I own. My only problem with any of these 40v products is that two battery units have failed (I have had at least 6 products with 40v batteries, and I bought two extra batteries, when on sale). It would be nice if B&D added a telescoping 40v tree-limb pruning saw.

Love the lawnmower but the battery never lasts more than 20 minutes. It is very time consuming and not convenient to change batteries and then leave some of the lawn til the next day

Easy to use. Lightweight for normal lawns. Comes with 2 batteries which is convenient if you’re doing a good amount of mowing. Not great on high grass but has different height settings and is user-friendly. I’ve only had it a couple months sotime will tell. So far so good.

Very good product for the money – mower works fine and is light – blower works ok – not real powerful but ok – trimmer is good – batteries last a long time – good purchase for the price

I really like my new electric mower for several reasons. Being lightweight, it is easy to push and easy to maneuver. Two batteries are just enough to finish the mow on my midsized suburban lot. Simple to assemble and to adjust the height. Charging the batteries is simple too. The part I did not know about was the recommendation of removing the blades twice every mowing season to have them sharpened. What a pain that will be.

This mower works as advertised. Quick to assemble. Very quiet and easy to maneuver. No problems within the first month of use. Mows a medium size lot with two charged batteries. Batteries fully charge in 2-3 hours. However, will need to cut grass more frequently and avoid cutting thick, wet grass. I bought an extra charger to keep both batteries ready to go.

Mowed my yard 3 times and am very pleased so far. Assembly was easy and the 40V batteries are interchangeable with the B&D 40V weed eater and leaf blower I purchased last year. Mowing the front takes about 15-20 minutes. Short beverage break and I go ahead and change out the battery– then off to the back yard which takes about 20-25 minutes. The mower has plenty of power for my needs. Lack of self propel is a non-issue due to the light weight–even on a steep hill in my back yard. Best of all is no oil changes or gas.

Easy to setup and use. Works perfect in our small yard of tall fescue! And small and light enough to get in and out of our basement.

works better then I thought and great for my small yard, easy to handle and get going and can mow yard on one battery charge
Tevin Kreiger (verified owner) –
This mower is easy to set up and works well. Now I know why they give you two batteries, since the battery lasts about 20 minutes. I have a small lawn and the battery lasts for one trip.I do love the automatic start, as I get older it was hard to do the pull starter. I would recommend it.

No gas, No oil, No maintenance No brainer!!! Has the same feel of a gas mower without the noise or exhaust fumes. Stores upright in the garage right next to the trimmer and blower. I have a small yard and can cut the grass, trim, edge, and blow away debris with one battery. ( comes with two and a charger ) For $350 heck of a deal compared to the other mowers I shopped
