The mower was easy to assemble, very light weight, and stored easily. It starts with the push of a button, no cord to pull. It meets my needs and I really like it.

Bought this mower in June and I love it. So glad there are 2 batteries so I can keep the mowing going once one looses charge. No complaints. Did not want a gas mower mower.

This product is great. Starts right up and does a great job. We have a small yard so it is perfect. I like that it folds up and i store it in the cellar. It is also not too heavy so that makes it even better.

IT was easy to assemble but the batteries don’t stay charged long enough to finish cutting my lawn.

The battery life of the mower is less than I was hoping, unless grass is cut more often to keep it short. The trimmer works better than expected. Wish the blower had higher setting, but works as long as not blowing high volume of debris.

I like to do my mowing early in the morning and having a battery mower means I do not make as much noise as a regular mower. This is my second battery mower and it does a very good job keeping my lawn looking nice. My only con is that the battery does not last long enough to do the front and back areas. I have to take take two days to mow both areas. And the two batteries I have do not finish the back yard before they need recharging. I usually have to spend about five more minutes to finish the job.

It makes mowing easier and it is so lightweight compared to a traditional mower. I highly recommend this purchase.

This mower was easy to assemble and ready to go after fully charging both batteries. It is very light weight and easy to push. It does an excellent job of cutting the grass. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this mower sooner.

For a small lawn to take care of this group of tools turns out to be ideal. Pays for itself in half a year of $60/month lawn service. Plus, I’m back in control, so I can cut it more often in the growing season so the lawn stays at a healthy “mulching” mowing length. (Never cut more than a third of the grass height off.) What I like is the light weight and easy care the mower provides. Flipping it over and keeping the plastic body clean, has been really easy. Easy to run a file over the cutting edge before each mowing to keep it sharp and efficient. One lever mowing height adjustment. It’s also much quieter (you can actually converse with your neighbor), and blade stop and go is easy. I cut my empire zoyzia lawn at 2-2.5 inches. This is NOT for large lawns though. My for my small lawn its perfect. (About 2000 sq.ft) One battery does the whole thing, plus almost a second pass of 500 sq. in front. When the battery is low on the mower, it just stops. It doesn’t get slower and weaker and start cutting poorly. It just stops, and I pop in the second battery from the on board storage compartment, and then I keep going. I use the second battery to edge and blow, and if I want a quick second pass on the rest of the lawn. The edger works great. It’s very light and comfortable to handle. I find I can cut back on the cutting speed (and battery drain) for a more control when doing my edging. It easily flips from horizontal to vertical and back. The length is adjustable to my height. The automatic feed works like a dream. It has a flip down guard, but I find that it guards a bit too much, so I stopped using it. The blower is adequate for blowing away clippings and light debris only, which is all I need for mowing lawn care for paved walks, drive, curbs, and garage. In no way you are you ever going to use this blower for a major leave dump on your lawn or any rain soaked debris. Charging takes a few hours, and it can be a bit picky if things are hot or the charger is disturbed. I just let the batteries go back to room temperature, and I no longer don’t try charge in my 95 degree garage (or on top of a vibrating laundry dryer).. The indicator lights on the charger will tell you if there are any charging issues. Based on my hunt for additional matching 40 V batteries, the model battery that is used seems very unique to this set of Black and Decker equipment, and like all these type of batteries, they are not cheap. There are electronics built in to the packs with a charge level indicator. So keep that in mind, and take good care of your batteries (What every you do, don’t drop them!).

I loved it. Was very easy to start and cut my yard with no problems.

Perfect for my small (1/4 acre lot) yard and I can get through the whole thing on 1 battery. I previously had a reel mower and it had trouble if the grass got too tall or wet but this powers through without a problem. I use it in the mulching configuration but the bag attachment seems like it would be easy to use if you wanted to go that route. I purchased this because my neighbor had one and have since recommended it to a few other people with small yards.

So far, my mowing has only lasted about 20″ and the batteries have done fine.

I am very satisfied. It cuts very well.

Prior to my purchase I read a review where the purchaser tried the blower first and returned the set without proceeding. A little discouraging. When I got mine, I immediately tried the mower and it is WONDERFUL. I previously had a WORX battery powered mower and the mower was narrower and had a lead battery that must have weighed a ton. This uses the small 40w battery. It performs like a trooper and I love it. The string trimmer is terrific too. The blower is lousy, I agree with the earlier review, but that reviewer shot himself in the foot by not trying the other items before returning the set. Sure, I think the blower is not worth having, but the mower and trimmer are worth discarding the third item. I am a 67 y/o female senior, handicapped, and certainly cannot handle a pull start mower and a long electric cord is difficult. I love to mow my grass and don’t want to give up the joy of my trimmed yard.

This black and decker mower is easy to use and push. I have used the bagger and mulch devices and both worked very well. The bagger was easy to empty and reinstall. I have less trimming since it mows right up to the edge of my flowerbeds. No more gas fumes and no more pull starting!

It was practically assembled when I got it. Took 5 minutes to get it set.

It does a whisper quiet job of mowing my lawn in 1.5 hours run time. If I let it get too long I use a second battery I bought to complete the task. Bagging is s breeze. It also mulches very well. Blade MUST be kept sharp with my hand grinder to properly cut.

Love the mower—hope it outlasts the last one which died 2 months after the 2 year warranty expired. This time, I purchased an extended service plan—not taking ANY chances! Mower cost about $100 more than it did 2 years ago. On the plus side, I got 2 replacement batteries a few months back for the previous mower and now have 2 more new ones with a second charger. Pluses: Ease of use, easy to adjust deck height with a single lever. Decent bagging performance and OK mulching as long as graa isn’t too high and/or wet. Minuses: battery power. It takes 4 batteries to mow the yard which is .30 acre. Foam handle grip peeling after first use. At least the last one lasted until the second use! I would have gone with Ego if I didnt already have such an investment in additional batteries!

The mower arrived with apiece that holds the power cable in place broken. I called B & D and they sent me a new one. The problem is to install it requires the power to be (poor design) removed

Assembled the mower by breaking down the sides of the box first. Very easy to assemble. Mower is light weight relative to other ones. The batteries last quite a while. My lawn is smaller, about 500 sq ft, and I’ve gotten 3 mowings off of one charge. There was still 25% left – I like the battery indicator. Mower is very easy to use with it’s light weight. Works great. Handle is quick to break down for storage and set back up to use. This is my third electric mower, second battery one. It’s by far the best of the bunch.
