Purchased this 40vMAX to replace a 15 yr old B&D electric, corded mower. Larger blade, wider chassis and UNPLUGGED! Love the suspension control, accessories, runtime and storage for cell#2. 30-40min range on cell#1 – plenty juice for me.

good long life battery that charges and performs well when cool. However living in SC means that the charging is somewhat interrupted and the performance is compromised by the high heat days (90F+) as the battery gets HOT, so I suggest putting the charging station in an AC environment

We ordered 2 new batteries for our battery powered mower and now have a total of 5 batteries. It takes 3 batteries to mow our yard for an hour and I mow twice a week. We determined each lithium battery will last about 3 years. $100 a piece sounds expensive but for us it averages about $33 a year. I would buy this brand again.
