It makes mowing easier and it is so lightweight compared to a traditional mower. I highly recommend this purchase.

Pickup up at home depot on 5/4/2020. The mower is light easy to set up. Adjustments are easy. extra batteries can be bought easily. It has one battery of use and one for storage. Still figuring out the run times. I’m happy with the unit easy to clean cause it is a composite body. The blade mounting bracket is stainless steel. The blade is metal and mounting bolt is metal. Its only weight is only 40 pounds. No gas or cord or oil. it is very quiet and powerful for being battery powered. If you have a big huge lawn it would not make sense. 10 batteries yes you could do a large area. For what I’m doing I have two chargers and four 2.5 Ah 40 volt batteries. It works fine for a small yard with the setup it come with. It takes about an hour to charge a battery. For this type of setup over time technology will advance this will become a standard. I’m very happy with the unit.

Great blower for smaller areas(ie decks, porches and around outside equipment near home). Extra battery comes in very handy.

The battery works great, but doesn’t last as long as I would like. This is the third battery in 3 years. I use it about once a week for 30 to 45 minutes.

I really like my new electric mower for several reasons. Being lightweight, it is easy to push and easy to maneuver. Two batteries are just enough to finish the mow on my midsized suburban lot. Simple to assemble and to adjust the height. Charging the batteries is simple too. The part I did not know about was the recommendation of removing the blades twice every mowing season to have them sharpened. What a pain that will be.

I’m totally pleased with my BLACK+DECKER 20 in. 40-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless Lawn Mower. I got rid of my gas mower and had the Black and Decker 19 in. rechargeable mower (plug into the wall outlet) for about 15 years and it never really wore out. When I put in a new lawn in the Fall of 2019, I decided to upgrade and gave my old one to my very appreciative neighbor. I love this new one and the features and charging process. The edging is great and the two batteries each last forever and are so easy to use. The mower was easy to assemble too. As a woman, with a chronic neuro-muscular disability, having a lawn mower that is powerful but very easy and quiet to operate, easy to prepare and keep clean, works like a charm, and never stinks or leaves pollution in the air or in your face — it’s all good!

I own this mower for more than six years. My yard is 100×55 =5,500 sq ft. One charge can cut the yard if you do it every week. I collect the grass clippings to mulch my garden. I have nothing to maintain, except I sharpened the blade. The height adjustment is the absolutely one touch control on the right side. Noise – none to talk about. I paid $449, but I hate maintaining a gas engine with messy engine oil and then keeping the oil in my garage until I have enough to take to the recycle center. Stress free as you do not wonder if the mower is going to start.Problem: When I needed to replace the battery I had a hard time finding a replacement. Black & Decker needs to do better. Next it is required that the battery is kept plugged in all the time. Better cordless will come along but I am happy with my B&D.

Fits the needs. Compatible with multiple B&D 40-volt devices (trimmer, blower, edger, hedge trimmer). Holds charge well if used according to instructions.

Purchased a second battery to ease the everyday chores of lawn care. This battery is quick to recharge and easy to use.

Love the mower—hope it outlasts the last one which died 2 months after the 2 year warranty expired. This time, I purchased an extended service plan—not taking ANY chances! Mower cost about $100 more than it did 2 years ago. On the plus side, I got 2 replacement batteries a few months back for the previous mower and now have 2 more new ones with a second charger. Pluses: Ease of use, easy to adjust deck height with a single lever. Decent bagging performance and OK mulching as long as graa isn’t too high and/or wet. Minuses: battery power. It takes 4 batteries to mow the yard which is .30 acre. Foam handle grip peeling after first use. At least the last one lasted until the second use! I would have gone with Ego if I didnt already have such an investment in additional batteries!

Nice addition to my yard cleanup arsenal. Now I can do twice as much yard work by alternating the two batteries.

I got it about three weeks ago. So, I have been able to use it on a regular basis. So, it charges up like it’s supposed to, and it also works like it’s supposed to. Now, what am I supposed to say that’s going to be 300 characters or letters. Did it go bad? It works and it charges up.
