Great buy. Came with 2 batteries. Very light and easy to push. No more yanking the cord and cumbersome turnings when mowing. One handle adjusts the cutting depth with ease. Don’t know what I did without this mower all these years. Great for smaller lawns. However larger lawns will not be an issue with extra batteries.Been telling my neighbors about all the pluses this mower has over gas mowers. I also purchased the battery operated hedge trimmer and Trimmer/Edger. Both are great and no more cords.Don’t wait order one now.

Easy to assemble, lightweight, powerful, easy to use!I specifically purchased this make/model because I wanted a very high cut and this offered the best height adjustment of all the battery mowers!

I love being able to mow early in the morning and not disturb my neighbors. This really helps when it will be in the high 90s later in the day.It is great to be able to fold up the handle and park the mower in the garage vertically as there is no gas or oil to drain out! Here is a photo of the mower in action. It is very light and easy to move around my 1/4 acre lot.

As the others have stated, the mower itself does a great job, easy to push and adjust, quiet, however, the battery life is not as described. I have a small yard and have not been able to completely mow it entirely at one time Using both batteries. The batteries are too hot to start the recharge immediately and then takes more than two hours to fully charge.I am retired and did not expect to spend all day mowing my lawn!

I live on about 1/4 acre, it I can’t do my entire lawn with just the 2x 2amp batteries, but I have 2x 1.5 amp to finish the job. It cuts nice, is super light, but best of all is super easy to start. I have a hard time getting gas engines to start with the rip cord. It takes about an hour and a half to two hours to complete my lawn. I’m just happy I can do it myself finally!

This is a great option for someone with a small yard, who wants to reduce their carbon footprint or just doesn’t want to deal with the hassle of gas, oil, etc. I went from a corded version to this battery operated one and love it! The battery does seem to wear down faster in hotter temperatures.

I have had this machine for over a year now and am pleased with it. It was bought to cut the grass in my wife’s rose garden. We like to keep the grass at 4 to 5 inches, a job it does well, with little noise. We put the clippings into our compost, where they are needed more than on the grass. The mower cuts about a bag of clippings for each charge of the battery, so each stop to change batteries is also the time to empty the clippings bag.The times suggested for battery life are quite optimistic. I have found that I mow about 6 minutes per charge. I bought 2 more batteries to allow more cutting at a time. This is a good trade-off. Every gas mower (I have 6) needs to be fed the more expensive gas, plus stabilizer. They also require far more maintenance than the battery powered mower. The mower cuts better in dry grass than wet grass, but this is true of all mowers except hand-held scythes that work better in wet grass, but are better suited to haying.

I bought this product about three months ago. It has a good smooth now. My yard gets done pretty efficiently and is all evenly cut. I would recommend this mower to any mom like me. Looking for a simple to use mower.

Easy to assemble and works great. Cuts grass very well. Better than I expected. I have a small yard, and this easily lasts with one battery (About 20 minutes). I keep it in a small shed, so the quick release handle is great for storage. It’s fairly light, so easy to push and maneuver and can be picked up for storage. One note: Make sure the battery is all the way in and connected. I put a new battery in and it wouldn’t run. Thought it was busted, but turned out I just hadn’t pushed it in hard enough.

Just be sure you have the battery all the way connected and you will love this mower. Good for small lawns. Needed 2 batteries to finish the job. Much improved key system than earlier models.

Super light, easy to handle and great having a back up battery. I had the old version which had a heavy battery and was hard to push around in comparison. When ever the first battery goes dead you instantly have the back up that you can install.

Thrilled with the battery powered mower!Hardest part of whole assembly was aligning the“Teeth” gears at SAME TIME pressing the side level to lock in the teeth!

I wish the battery life was better, but with my charger from the other Black and Decker products, the battery charges pretty fast.

I purchased this product because I have a hedge trimmer and blower/vacuum units so I would have additional batteries. I read the reviews before I purchased and it appeared one of the complaints was the battery discharge and slow recharge time. I never experienced that issue with the other units I had, so I decided to make the purchase. I’ve only used the unit so far to pick up leaves on the yard and then lower it to suck up a majority of the leaves on the driveway and curb. It works extremely well at that task. Now the reason for the 4 star instead of 5. The charger that came with my blower/vacuum unit will charge 2 batteries in the time the charging unit with the mower will maybe charge 1. So now, I understand the 1 and 2 star ratings. I’ve got 4 batteries to start plus when the first battery is spent it will be recharged before I go through battery #4. So my suggestion to black and decker is to scrap the recharger you ship with the mower and replace with the recharger item # LCS36.

The lawnmower works great except for the batteries. So far I have not been able to fully charge the batteries and only 3 indicator lights instead of the four go on. And it takes up to 4 hours of charging for each battery to reach that level. This means that I cut about half one day, the other half the next.
