I am happy with the purchase of the 20 inch 60V Cordless Lawn Mower. It has cut the lawn cutting time almost in have. I have a fair size lawn and it takes battery and a half to cut the lawn if it is long or wet. The plastic guard along the back of the mower has broken off and it is not a loss for the mower. It works much better without it.

Purchased a year ago. Working well, super quiet. I have a 1/4 of an acre and batteries last for the entire mow.

Does a great job at cutting the lawn. Has all the necessary features. However even though it has two 60v 2.5Ah batteries. They run out too fast, both batteries are completely drain before I am done. Might need to order a 3rd battery to keep up.

great product, easy to assemble and use

Easier to maneuver than the old Black & Decker lawn mower. Height of all 4 wheels adjusts simultaneously with a lever on front of mower. Batteries can be kept inside the house instead of in the garage, so they’ll last longer. With two 60 V batteries, more powerful than the previous mower. Lithium cannot be recycled at this time, but scientists are working on the problem. It’s very easy to remove and charge the batteries.

I bought this mower to replace a gas mower and absolutely love it. The only downside is the battery life is too short.

I bought this mower a couple of months ago, very surprised at the ease of what little assembly there is. Works fantastic, light and adjusts to most any position needed. Extremely satisfied.

Very happy with this mower. One of the batteries became faulty within the first few months but I had no problem getting a free replacement from Black & Decker. And was able to use the mower in the interim because I can do my whole lawn on one battery.

I bought this mower to replace an older Black & Decker cordless mower which I had had for just over 10 years. I was offered, and took, a trade-in deal that saved me some $150. (CDN) The mower is much lighter and easier to use, cuts the grass well and, actually, is a delight to use. The double lithium batteries last over 60 minutes and I have yet to need a third battery. I bought two extra batteries and an extra charger to have batteries ready. Switching from battery 1 to battery 2 is easy. I have to admit that changing batteries could be easier but takes maybe 15 to 20 seconds to get the fit. Not exactly a major issue.

I was very happy with this mower in late 2018 when I bought it. But it is not very sturdy. The piece that hangs from the rear of the mower to keep rocks from shooting back fell off. The padding of the handle split. But the biggest problem is the batteries. I’m still under warranty so they give me now batteries, but my warranty will soon be gone and I’ll be faced with purchasing ridiculously expensive replacement batteries. It’s nearly as aggravating as having to buy liquid in for a printer–I feel like I was baited to purchase a reasonably priced mower but now I’ll have to either buy very expensive replacement parts or scrap the mower. It does a nice job of cutting my lawn and is quiet, so I’m satisfied with those aspects. But I had a gas lawnboy for over 10 years and a gas Toro for more than 10. This mower will last until the warranty is up and then it will hit the landfill.

Switch for battery can easily break. Hard to take batteries out especially with the cover.

I bought the less powerful BD cordless mower but returned it for this one. The first one was not enough power for my sloping, fast growing lawn. This 20 ” 60 volt mower is awesome. Everything works, it has weight, but not too heavy for me to handle. It doesn’t up and stop when it hits thick grass, but keeps on mowing. I like the double batteries. I can mow about 40-50 minutes on both batteries. You can tell when the battery is dying, the mower slows down. On the less powerful BD mower, it just up and STOPPED. No warning. The bagger is easy to dump, I can turn the mower over and clean it. I like that the battery charger is outside the mower. I had another BD mower that had the battery inside and I had to pull it into my basement to charge it up. Totally messy and I ended up tripping over the charging cord, breaking the switch and now it’s no good, at all. And I’m totally done with gasoline mowers. If you’re looking for a great cordless mower, at a reasonable price, easy for you or your wife or grandmother to handle, this is it.

Very powerful batteries even for my thick grass. This is my second Black$Decker lawn mower. I still have my old one. It doesn’t charge as well but it is 6 years old and still works! I tried other brand and had to return to the store. It looked fancy but the batteries were dying after 10 minutes.

I bought this last Fall and it worked fantastic. Now, it’s April and I cannot get it to start. Batteries are fully charged. Nothing lights up on the mower. Extremely frustrated.

Prior to purchasing our first cordless-electric lawnmower, my wife and I read all the reviews and narrowed it down to two. After speaking with the local hardware sales lady about her mower, who was eager to sell her ware and matching that sales pitch to our good luck with other Black & Decker products, we chose the Black & Decker 60V POWERSWAP mower. And we haven’t looked back! First, this B&D POWERSWAP mower is lightweight and easy to maneuver. We live within the city limits and own a double lot. The genius of the POWERSWAP feature allows us to mow the front, back, and side yards without interruption on the one full charge. At no time does it bog down when it encounters the heavier grass. It cuts the heavier clumps just as well as those “thinner” areas – no raggedy cut blades of grass noted. The design of the B&D POWERSWAP reminds me of an Indycar! This low-profile, fully-covered frame easily gets up and under the bushes and shrubs without complaint. It trims good and close to our flag pole, tree trunks, and landscaping borders. It cleans up like a breeze and can store away in my shed within its own footprint. Everything about the B&D POWERSWAP mower is one giant leap forward from my gasoline-powered, walk-behind bagger. If cordless-electric lawnmowers are put in to the three categories of good, better, and best – the Black & Decker 60V POWERSWAP would be leading the the pack in the “BEST” category.

I did my research before choosing this mower and we are quite pleased! It runs quietly and has enough power. It’s light and easy to maneuver. It’s very easy to switch batteries and adjust the height. The only issue is that the foam part on the handle is coming off already. Not essential to the mower though. We would recommend it!

The mower is great. Problems with the battery charger. We got it to work properly now.
