Bought this to replace a 20 year old Black&Decker cordless mower (battery died and couldn’t get a replacement due to size of battery & age of mower) This new mower is great! So light weight and does the job better than my old mower. I especially like the battery set up….recharge one while using the other & easy access to batteries. So glad I stayed with Black&Decker.

Mower is great. Holds charge. Even cuts through the higher wet grass of spring just fine.

Awesome mower with powerful batteries. Super smooth and clean.

It is expensive but it is a really good mower. It’s two battery system work very well.

I love this mower except for three things :1). Like many B&D cordless device and battery combinations sliding the batteries in and out can be a struggle.2). The foam rubber handle cover rips easily and should be reinforced with a shrink-tube to protect its vulnerable edges. Or use electric tape but that’s not a good idea.3). The mower housing has a strange ‘baffle’ on the left side as one is facing the front from behind and if the grass is even a little too long, a ‘wind row’ of grass will be deposited just under the baffle whether I bag or mulch. Those are mainly annoyances though. That said, having to re-mow each ‘wind row’ to mulch the clippings enough to disperse them to the under side of the top of the lawn essentially increases my mowing time by 50%. I can still work with that because my back and front yard can easily be done in one battery each even considering the extra time needed to not have clippings sitting on the surface is a 1/3 of the time. For feature requests, I’d like to see a mower of similar capacity that can stand up to reduce floor space while not in use. I’d also like to see the handle lock and unlocking mechanism more robust with internal locking and unlocking instead of a crude nut-n-bolt-guaranteed-to-vibrate-out-and-go-missing-in-tall-grass design.I know I seem negative but other than the issues mentioned, it is easily the best mulching mower I have ever used providing a smooth even clean cut every time.

I have owned this mower for two years now and it has been a reliable and easy to use mower. The only weak area is the batteries as they have about a 15-18 minute runtime on 5” tall St. Augustine grass, but you have the PowerSwap button to switch to another battery, to get the job done. Love the simplicity of just plug-in battery and start cutting. No more smelly gas!

Nothing negative to say about it. Quiet, works perfectly, and not too heavy to push for a 5″4 girl !

It works well for the most part. Sometimes is stalls in taller grass, but overall it does a nice job.

The 60-Volt is a great improvement over the 40-Volt models as it’s actually possible to mow the average lawn in one attempt. It was well worth the additional $50-$60. The only detractor I see so far is it would have been nice to have a charger for each battery.

Perfect for my city lot. I only need to use 1 battery to do my entire yard. Lightweight for easy handling.

I truly love this mower. This is my third season mowing with it and have had no issues. My yard is tiny, one side being 12×80 and the other side being 25×80 so I can cut all of it on one battery, even when I let it over grow. I so enjoy not having to run a loud gas mower any more!! No pull cord either. It’s so quiet I can talk to someone if need be. The battery indicator light drops down very quickly to one light, which at first worried me, but I kept mowing to see how long the battery would last, and it never stopped, I even double mowed thinking it would. It will run less powerful as the battery becomes drained, but only towards the end. I’ve switched over to the second battery twice in three years, due to heavy over grown grass making the mower work harder. One thing I have to work around is the line of cut grass left behind on the left side of the mower (facing as you push it) when mowing taller grass. I simply re-mow that area, as I mulch and never bag. If I mow twice a week, (which I only due during rapid growth periods), or the grass grows slow, this isn’t a problem. It’s not enough of an issue for me to dislike the mower, as the many benefits I enjoy from it far out weigh this one issue. I did break the rear flap/toe guard, but I pull the mower backwards alot, so that is on me. The batteries are a little difficult to install, and take out, including in and out of the charger, but that’s not really a major issue. I don’t fold the handle to store it, so can’t really comment on how that holds up. The mower is light weight and super easy to move around and flip on it’s side to clean. For anyone tired of working hard to get their lawn mower out, started and pushed around – this mower is a life saver! I don’t miss any of the issues with gas, pull cords, loud mowing, worrying I’ll wake a sleeping neighbor, lugging a heavy gas mower in and out of storage, or over objects (like roots), or needing help to load it for maintenance. I can fold down the handle and load this one in my trunk all by myself! For my yard, I’m forever free of gas mowers.

This Mower is what I was looking for. Easy to push and lite weight. I use a lot less effort to meow the yard than with other mowers

When I plugged in the charger, it flashed a light momentarily. But after I inserted a battery pack into it, nothing happened. The batteries had a little charge. When I ran the lawn mower with the batteries it ran perfectly for about 10 minutes on each battery, and then stopped. So I guessed the charger was faulty. I wrote to Black & Decker on their website, seeking help, and provided my address, email, phone number. But received no reply. So had to just return the entire thing. Felt bad returning because the Mower is very good. It’s light, powerful, and runs quietly.

GREAT mower all around. I use it to trim around my pond. Easily cut cattails. Use it in all the places that my riding mower can’t go . Light weight, easy to move around. Used it all summer(2017). Never going back to a gas mower.

More than expected does an excellent job of cutting. Lightweight, easy to push and easier & lighter than a neighbors self propelled mower. So far have only had to use one of the two batteries for the front and back with plenty of power. Nice that you don’t have to have them both installed to use.

I got this mower over a year ago. I have over a 1/2 acre of smooth, sloped and uneven ground. With 2 batteries even with bagger on, it lasts 1-1/2 hours. It’s not self propelled, but that’s actually good because I can pull it back if I need to without tearing up the ground. Plastic cover to batteries could use some improvement. It doesn’t stay open when replacing batteries and actually broke after a few months. The bag doesn’t stay on as well as it could. Even so, those issues are minor compared to not having the aggravation of maintaining the gas powered motor.

I had a CM1200. This is much lighter and you can use the batteries in other products from B&D. Very good height adjustments that allow you to vacuum thingies over concrete.

The mower is really good. It’s quiet, light and does a good job cutting the grass buuuut……i can’t finish my entire yard on 2 batteries and I have a small yard. I guess, I will have to purchase a 3rd battery. it is disappointing.

I bought this mower to replace an older Black & Decker cordless mower which I had had for just over 10 years. I was offered, and took, a trade-in deal that saved me some $150. (CDN) The mower is much lighter and easier to use, cuts the grass well and, actually, is a delight to use. The double lithium batteries last over 60 minutes and I have yet to need a third battery. I bought two extra batteries and an extra charger to have batteries ready. Switching from battery 1 to battery 2 is easy. I have to admit that changing batteries could be easier but takes maybe 15 to 20 seconds to get the fit. Not exactly a major issue.
