This is my 3rd Black and Decker coffee maker (water comes from a well) in the last 9 years. They have all made a great cup of coffee. I tried another brand before I bought the 3rd one because of the reviews that the other brand was receiving. It didn’t compare to the Black and Decker. I returned it and bought my 3rd coffee maker. The control buttons work especially the cleaning mode. The clock is very accurate and keeps the correct time. Only complaint is the 1st two makers had a water filter included and this one doesn’t. Surely a couple of filters and a holder couldn’t add that much more to the cost.

I was looking for a simple coffee maker that would brew good coffee fast, this product does that every time.When I was shopping for a coffee maker I didn’t want to pay for extra features I wouldn’t use, this one seemed easy to use. This was also the only one that advertised fast brewing, that was important for us and it works great.We had a Black & Decker a few years ago, it worked well for at least 7 years (our coffee maker is used several times every day), so hope to get the same from this one.We programmed the clock when we bought it and it keeps time just fine.

I bought this a few months ago and noticed that the display didn’t light up. I thought that it was broken but I see that others have had the same problem. The coffee maker itself is mediocre but no light on the display drives me crazy!
