I bought this coffeemaker after my old coffee maker broke and it works fantastic. Its very quiet and makes great coffee. Unfortunately; however, after owning it for less than a week, I was cleaning the pot regularly, nothing too intense and the handle slid around and the pot was cracked. Fortunately, I still had the pot from the old coffee maker and they’re roughly the same size. 5 stars for working well, 2 stars for breaking. I’ll give it 4 stars.

I have been pretty pleased with this coffeemaker. I have not been pleased with the replacement carafe. I cracked the original after about 2 years and bought the recommended replacement. I had the correct model number and the replacement carafe was the correct one, but it does not fit well and the basket will not drain fast enough. I have had several times of grounds in the coffee and have resorted to placing a heavy object against the carafe to push the spring to empty the basket of coffee.

I was rinsing out the carafe and heard a loud popping sound. A huge chunk of glass came out of the side and smaller pieces flying every where!!!!!!! Not happy!!!No it was not hot and no I did not bang it on anything!!

This coffeemaker has a small footprint, fits nicely on the kitchen counter and still leaves a couple of inches top clearance. The programmable feature is the best so I can preset auto brew at night for the morning hours. I just love it when things start on their own; it’s like planning ahead and saves tons of time in the morning when you never have enough time, or at least I don’t. Why, you don’t even have to wait until it’s done with the brewing. Pour yourself a cup of joe right in the middle of brewing, isn’t that awesome? It’ll pause when you do that, but once you bring the carafe back in, it’ll re-start as if nothing happened. Wash it with warm soapy water between uses and you’re good to go. I love everything about this coffeemaker and highly recommend it to any coffee lover.
