This sander is excellent. Very easy to change sanding belts. Switching between coarse, medium, fine belts I have not had to mess with the tracking adjustment. just swap belt and run. Best feature after lot of sanding notice dust bag full. Very little dust on project and table. this sander was going to be a backup sander for my misplaced older sander. after running this machine I’m not too interested in finding my now older backup sander

Is a good tool exempt for the dust bag it doesn’t hook to good in the sander but after all a good investment for the price

Diablo 80 grit belts do not track well.

Bought one of these B&D Dragsters many years ago, maybe 10, and it served me well until I broke the belt a couple weeks ago (the original belt). The belt breaking caused the drive rubber to break and no parts are available. I was a little rough on it I admit. The no parts thing is the only fault I would find with this sander. So I bought the new Dragster sander and for the price I guess I can’t go wrong. It certainly works as well as my old one. As far as belt drift, once you get it tracking well it stays there. I highly recommend this sander. I use it for medium duty jobs.

This was great for getting to tight areas however we were disappointed that we couldn’t find a higher grade of sand paper for it to finish the project. Had to do the finer sanding by hand but this sure helped the overall process!!!

I sanded my small deck with the belt sander. It worked well. It took me a while to figure out certain things (e.g., the orange handle gets ‘stuck’ half way, but you need to force it to open all the way…it won’t break). I would like the bag, containing the sand dust, to be easier to empty. Otherwise, a great product.

This sander works well for me and the narrow tip gets into places most sanders can’t.

I bought this 9 years ago, and have used it for various projects like floor refinishing around the edges… Never had a problem. I’m using it today.

It’s light and easy to get into corners.

The sander works very well, however, the belt slides constantly while sanding old growth pine. No big problem, just requires a quick turn of the adjustment knob. All in all, I am very pleased and would recommend this product for the price alone.

The sander was just what I was looking for, the price was right. Out of the box, plug it in, start sanding. It is light weight, easy for a senior lady to use. It sanded down the glue together 3/4” pine use to make my new table top flat in no time.

I really can’t complain about this belt sander. I used it for something that it really should NOT have been able to do and it worked GREAT… I used it to sand 70 yr. old hardwood floors. It took 3 days and a boat load of dust (albeit the sander actually collected most of it in the bag… you just have to empty the bag every 25 sq. ft. or so), but my floor looks GREAT. I haven’t put my 2 coats of poly on there yet, but WOW. I’m uploading a before and after photo for those who want to see. The before photo was taken 2 years ago with a different camera but you should still be able to get the jest of the improvement. It’s PHENOMINAL! Took away 70 years worth of caked on brown grime, filth, & stains. BTW, I returned the Ryobi 6 amp yellow sander (3 x 18 inch) to get this one. It didn’t work any where NEAR as well, surprisingly…

I have had this tool about a year and have used it probably a dozen times.Enough to wear out a few belts. It works great, gets in close to the edge and has been a nice tool, not real powerful but not too heavy either..i like it.
