I bought this specifically because of the flip up guard on the front end. Used it to sand my floors under the cabinet toe kicks. Has ample power for moderate jobs and is much lighter than my Makita 4″ X 24″ belt sander.

It’s a sander. We’ve barely started using it. It does the job it’s supposed to. We’ve been pleased with B&D tools in the past, which have outlasted some others, and lasted very well, considering the tough use some of been put to. So, hopefully, this will last like that, again. We only got a new one, because the old one totally gave out…I think that old one was one we’ve had for close around 40 years…sporadic projects; got it 2nd hand..not a clue how the original owner used it.

bought it because my son had one and loves it. Used mine once so far to “wall fit” a vanity top. Works great.

The unique design of the front roller let me get closer to edges than in my old sander. So far, it seems sturdy, at a good price.

Light. Easy to use. Does the work of more expensive belt sanders

Great power and performance.

Wow impressed with how fast it stands. Took a bit to figure out how to control the front roller as it sands very quickly and gets into tight spots. I have had other belt sanders but nothing this easy to sand. Suggest you practice on test wood before starting your projects as this is not your ordinary belt sander.

This belt sander was a gift for my son. It is sturdy, does an effective job, is American made, and at a competitive price.

I like being able to flip up guard to get in tight places but the belt seems to wander a lot. I have never owned a belt sander and don’t know if this is common or not
