Great sander for the money. Easy to change put the sanding belts. Very easy, no tools required to change the belt tracking. 21inch belt last longer than the 18 inch models.

I bought the belt sander because I thought I’d need it to finish prepping my kitchen floor for new vinyl plank flooring, but I didn’t need it. So, I returned it yesterday for a full refund. I appreciate Home Depot’s customer service.

Light weight sander, easy to use and the bag collects lots of dust. We are cabinet installers and love this sander due to how light weight it is and how reasonably priced it is. Once we have an issue with it(a year or two later after almost daily use) we throw it out and buy another one due to the low cost, it’s not worth trying to fix. Highly recommend !!!

Light weight, easy to handle, quick belt changing, like the ability to get in close with the front cover raised and ability to change handle positions. Only reservation is with the belt tracking. Can be touchy, must be watched but easy to adjust.

This sander fills a niche. It can can reach places other sanders can’t, and with enough power to get the job done (7 amps). I just purchased it today and have only used it for about three hours, but I’m impressed. It removes material more quickly than either a detail slander or oscillating tool from hard to reach places like under a deck railing, against a wall, or between spindles on a railing. I would not solely rely on it as my only belt slander when sanding a large floor, but for specific applications it’s hard to beat.

Belt sander worked great, very powerful for it’s size and price. Was very easy to adjust the sand paper when it went a bit out of alignment. Extremely happy with this Belt Sander.

Had to resurface my deck, an area approx. 36 x 12. I used a commercial sander for the large areas, thinking the belt sander would only get used in a few areas the large one could not go.. I was mistaken, as it turns out, even though the commercial sander was designed to strip deck surfaces, I ended up going over nearly the entire surface with the belt sander. Plenty of torque and drum speed to make fast work of stubborn areas. the size and weight were not an issue, it ran flawlessly for a few hours at a time. Will be using it on the railings next!

This belt sander ia great for your weekend warrior or diy enthusist. It isnt a tool for the construction site or heavy duty purposes but it is a good tool for a great price. The flio up option for the use of the top is a great plus. All and all it is a good tool but if you deaire a heavy duty belt sander you should buy a Makita or Porter Cable.

As usual, Black and Decker has provided a great tool for a reasonable price. I’ve been going to town on the six layers of paint on my front porch. This belt sander has not skipped a beat!I definatelty would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent sander.

Needed a sander to fit in right spots. Found this. Read lots of reviews and pondered the mixed bag. The biggest was the belt walking off track. Weighed it against what I needed and took the chance.Read the instructions and adjusted the tracking accordingly. Went through 5 belts over the period of two days with naery a problem. I did find that the dust bag didn’t work exceptionally well, but hey, I’m was chewing through wood with 80 grit. My orbital sander throws off more dust.I did take a break every couple of hours and blew it out with my compressor. Kept the motor cooler and the track cleaner.
