What I needed is what I got. With arthritis in both thumbs, I needed a lightweight tool to cut grass around my flowers. The grass cutter is perfect and lasts as long as I do in the TX heat. The mini hedge trimmer is also perfect in weight and functioning for me.

Got this for Xmas & I can tell you the hedge trimmer has saved me so much time. As a senior I don’t care to deal with a huge electric trimmer. This little girl is light and does the job. Don’t know who came up with having to squeeze the handle and push a button at the same time to operate it. That’s why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Also I can tell you first hand Black & Decker customer service was great when I needed their help.

This is the second B&D grass shear/shrubber that I have bought and used. It is perfect for trimming around bushes with the blades sharp enough that you don’t have to go over the same grass over again and again. The only thing I don’t like is the having to push a button to engage the blade but my hubby fixed it so I can bypass that feature. When I wear this one out I will definitely buy another B&D.

Lightweight and easy to use. One issue I ran into is when using the trimmer attachment, the attachment and the part that holds it together falls apart easily when you cut anything too big. It cut the leaves and stems really easily on my bushes, but any small branches it doesn’t cut as well. If you are just trimming the leaves on hedges or bushes and grass, this works great though. I would recommend it for the price and for it having a rechargeable battery.
