It’s been few weeks and so far it is working fine. But feels like there are no accesories for this product. I would like a rack with some height or something so I can douber the surface inside the basket otherwise can only fit 3-4 items like burger patties or cutlets. Cooking 4 drumsticks or 1 potato at a time doesn’t really do the job, especially since you have to turn everything several times during the cooking. It works good and I like the brand but I probably won’t use it that much as I have other options. I bought 2 from you and gave one to my son and his girlfriend but doubt now that they use it much either. I was very satisfied in your service but am disappointed in the appliance’s limits.

I absolutely loved this the 1st 4 times I used it, then the basket wouldn’t reinsert. Then I saw a broken piece on the ground that pushes the button on from the inside. Seems to have melted off or something. Machine won’t turn on when basket is inserted anymore. Very disappointed.

I received this black and decker air fryer free to review, I wanted one for Christmas happy to receive this. First, it’s really easy to put to together (just 2 parts) the instructions was easy to understand. My family was cooking fried chicken wings this was prefect to try first. All it takes is a little oil that you brush on the wings Which was okay compared to the gallon of oil in my other deep fryer and your favorite seasoning. According to the instructions I will cook the wings for 25 mins at 400 degrees and shake (flip) the wings before time was up. The results are in the picture they taste good and was crispy like any other fryer cooks.Second, I gave this fryer 3 stars because the of the smell while it cooks and the smell also be on the food which is not good. My kids said it was not a problem but I didn’t like it. Lastly, it’s easy to take a apart and clean. Also love that it does not start cooking until the bottom is secure and locked. Changes I recommend the company makes is the smell the fryer gives off.!

Bought this unit about two years ago. Have had great success with it however early in its life the handle went bad and I see lots of people with the same issues once I started looking. Seems like its the weak point. I have sent sn email to them but do not expect much to come out of it since its been two years since I purchased it. Beware…

I had some sort of oil-less fryer in the past but it was so small that for my large family, it wasn’t really feasible for us to use so I gave it to my Mom. I have been seeing the new Black + Decker Purifry in the stores and really wanted to give the whole oil-less frying another try. We have tried several different types of food in the Purifry and it is very important to follow the directions exactly. Be sure and to preheat the fryer first before putting your food in. It is also recommended to coat the food lightly in oil before putting in the fryer. I have made food both ways and without the oil, the food tends to dry out since it is using air for cooking. Coating with oil keeps the surface of the food from drying out. It also worked best to turn the food half way through the cooking time as suggested by the directions. As I mentioned, the machine cooks with convection air. The food does not come out like it has been fried in any way. It is using air to cook items that you would normally fry like chicken, fries, etc. The quality of the finished food in the end is that of baking not frying. We didn’t find the results to taste anything like fried food but did taste like you baked it in the oven but a little drier. If you don’t want to heat the whole oven up to make some french fries then this may be a good alternative but if not, then this is just another kitchen appliance taking up space in the kitchen.

I have used this twice so far, making home made french fries. Initially used only one large potato as a test run, sprayed with Pam (wanted to see how it’d be,) and they came out well. Kids and I loved it. Second time, I used two large potatoes, coated with olive oil (as recommended.) There’s a line inside the basket, about halfway in, saying how much you can put in. With two potatoes, I still had some room. These came out a little crunchier than the first time. Husband and kids keep asking when I’m going to use it next! We got some frozen onion rings to try one day, and we can’t wait!It takes about five minutes to warm up. It has a little light lit up when warming, and it turns off to let you know it’s done. It is a bit noisy, but to me, it’s like the fan above the oven loud, so not too bad. It gives a nice ding! when it’s done, and immediately turns off. It’s warm, but not so hot you can’t put it away immediately if you wanted to, although it is a bit heavy. I have noticed both times some condensation under the handle button. No complaints, otherwise. It tells you right on the top some foods, cooking temp to set it at, and time to cook. You can’t take the basket out to clean, but so far a quick wipe with a paper towel has worked fine for me.It definitely adds some variety to my side dishes now. I never make foods that are typically fried, because of the amount of oil I would have to use, and baking them would mean having to heat up the oven, which in the summertime, is definitely not happening. I can’t wait to try making the foods it recommends (onion rings, wings, etc) and foods that are not, like empanadas.

I got this product in exchange for my honest review. I am absolutely in love with this air fryer! I cook almost everything I can in it. This air fryer is extremely easy to use and clean. We have tried cooking many different foods like frozen french fries, popcorn shrimp, frozen egg rolls, frozen taster tots, frozen chicken nuggets and frozen chicken wings. Everything has tasted so delicious and doesn’t taste like it loaded with grease. I am so happy to have been selected to review this product, it really is so awesome and so easy to use!!

I like that it’s simple to use, but I would really like some accessories to use with it, such as a pizza and cake pan or baking rack. Other air fryers have these “universal” accessories, but they won’t fit in the Black & Decker brand.

I purchased the 2L Purifry AF (HF110SBD-02) a few months ago and have used it at least 3 times a week. I love it!! My only problem is with the handle on the basket. For some reason it doesn’t stay latched when I pull it out. Is there anyway to either get a replacement handle or the whole basket? I hate to buy a brand new AF because everything else is working good.
