Purchased this trimmer when my 40+year old Black and Decker gave up the ghost. This is a great replacement. I especially like the longer blade length. The front handle needs to have a single bolt thru to the other side to hold it rather than 2 small screws

Works great. I was Surprised to read that Black and Decker offers 2 year manufacturers warranty . Will buy again . As a matter of fact I bought a chainsaw , waiting for home depot to deliver it . Used this Hedgehog Trimmer meets my expectations for now . Hope it lasts longer than the 2year warranty since it is for home use . Used it once so far in 3 weeks for 30 minutes.

The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because the assembly of the handle was frustrating to the point I was dropping f bombs.My vision isn’t good so I couldn’t line up the small screw holes. It took me longer to assemble the handle that trim a couple of plants.

This is a great hedge trimmer, and for that I’m giving it 5 stars. I did have to return it though, only because with the 24 inch blade, and the elongated handle, it was way too long for someone that’s 5’3″. It was great for the top of the shrubs, but for trimming the sides, I had to bend over or get on my knees. It would be perfect for you taller people. If the handle wasn’t abnormally elongated, it probably would’ve worked out great for me. It’s lightweight, the motor was powerful, and it leaves a nice, clean cut.
