great inexpensive trimmer. It is for a small amount of bushes we have. I like the weight and power. And iot is very sharp from the factory so good to replace the work. I would like an “On” locking slide but I don’t see a way to leave it going so the finger on the trigger gets a bit tired.

This trimmer allowed for a greater diameter branch to enter the breach, however the length of the blades couldn’t cut through the branch completely.One annoyance was the cord frequently pulled away from the prongs while cutting, even though it was threaded through the restraint properly. This could be a safety factor, since one is tempted to try to keep the cord connected with the “free” hand.With a couple of modifications, this could be a great product.Thanks for asking!

I bought this today 7/30/2018 to replace my 20+year old Black and Decker 18 inch trimmer that quit working in the middle of a hedge trimming job. Easy to put guard and handle on and is lighter in weigh than my old trimmer and even out preformed it hands down. If this last as long as the old one then it will well worth the price which wasn’t what I call pricey .

This electric trimmer works great, I trimmed several of my bushes in about an hour, relatively easy with this tool. Make sure you buy a 50′ extension cord so you don’t have to worry about the plug in power.

This trimmer’s size, brand, and lower price are the 3 main reasons I bought this trimmer. The 20” blade is the perfect length, as is the blade’s width. Using extension cord(s), this trimmer works great! It’s power is just okay (7/10) but, I will say it gets the jobs done. I use some force to cut into heavier / thicker stuff…and the trimmer works fine. Since it’s relatively inexpensive, this is an item to have at least 1-2 backups of. That way, in case it breaks or whatnot, you have another ready to go! I clean all of the blades (both sides) each time after I use the trimmer. When I use the trimmer, I use it for several hours off-and-on, not just for 1-hour or similar. I rinse off the debris first in water, and then I use rags and 3-in-1-oil to finish the cleaning process. It helps keep the blades fresh, lubricated, and overall…just working better! Also, be sure to check the screws and bolts occasionally too, to make sure nothing is loose…I do and have had no issues…nothing has become too loose. I highly recommend this trimmer for the do-it-yourselfer who doesn’t want to buy a gas-powered-trimmer. Gas-powered-trimmers cost at-least $150.00 for 1, around that price. I’ll spare the details, but I use two 14-gauge extension cords, totaling 150 feet in length…and it ALL works great!

Bought this today and cut my finger while trying to put the plate and handle. I wasn’t paying attention and my finger touched one of the blades. Got a pretty deep cut. Wish it had a blade cover to store it. I shoved it back in the box once I was done and locked it in a closet to prevent my kid from getting to it. Other than that, it’s a great trimmer. The shrubs in the front yard look great and it didn’t take long. Lightweight and powerful.

I bought this because the only other trimmer we have is an attachment for our string trimmer/edger and it’s so long and heavy I have a hard time lifting it to do the trimming – especially on a ladder or at shoulder level. I’ve only had this for a couple of weeks, but it is awesome. It powers through the foliage and is light enough for me to use for 1.5-2 hours continuously (we have a huge yard). Easy to put together, easy to use. Wish I had bought it years ago.
