This iron is the bee’s knees! I didn’t realize what a piece of junk I was using until I used this iron. The One Step Steam Iron is light yet goes right to work on the wrinkliest flannel and quilting cotton. The steam is auto at the cotton/linen setting and, though it goes through water fairly quickly, it irons fast and efficiently. The water tank is difficult to read because the blue is so dark, thus holding it in front of a window when filling is helpful. People entering my sewing area, (the kitchen haha), remark at how sleek and space-age it looks. I’m thoroughly pleased with this purchase.

First let me start off by saying ironing is not my favorite thing to do. That being said I thought to myself, “all irons were the same what could make any one more special?” Well I found out! I had recently dropped my last iron which is why I was excited to get this one. I am impressed on the size and steam power of this iron. You can hear it, see it and definitely enjoy how fast those wrinkles just seem to melt right out. My boys shirts always come out so wrinkled from the wash and I iron them right away. The shirt in my photos is one that is difficult to keep nice and flat. I used the steam and in no time it was done! I love that it has auto shut off after a few seconds when it’s not in use. It does start right back up once you start moving it around in an ironing motion so not to waste any time. It was easy to add and empty the iron of water. Plus there is a cleaning feature so you don’t risk getting it all clogged. Then to avoid that annoying cord it reels up! Tip: When I first opened it I forgot to remove the plastic on the bottom of the iron. Don’t forget to remove it before you plug in your iron because it turns on the moment you plug it in.

What a great little iron! This iron heats up almost instantly and changes temperatures for different garments in seconds. It has an automatic shut off safety feature which is amazing if you are forgetful as I am sometimes. It also steams evenly instead of spitting little bits of water out. You can use this iron vertically or horizontally. The retractable cord works effortlessly and makes for easy storage.

Love this iron it is very easy to use, works wonderful at ironing my clothes. This iron heats up at a decent time and doesn’t take forever to cool down. The feature that I love best about this iron is the fact that the cord retracts, I’m always trying to wind up the cords on other irons and it always gets in the way. So that feature makes this iron even better than other irons. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

This iron gets extremely hot. One passover on cotton setting and it is wrinkle-free. The cord retracts, which is perfect and no tripping over it as it stays close. I put water in the iron to produce steam for an even ironing and I dump out the rest to keep it from possibly rusting. One of the easiest irons I’ve ever owned.

I’ve had my new steam cord iron for about 2 weeks now . I am really loving the reel in cord. This iron is very nice I like that the dial to choose your selections is under the handle. It’s nice to have the selections labeled on the side of the iron . This iron heats up quickly and also cools down in a timely manner. Having a retractable cord is really nice I would say it’s my favorite feature . It’s very easy to store this iron when not using it. Very nice product I am fully satisfied with it. I think it will last years it seems to be very durable and high quality.

We got this Black and Decker Steam Cord Reel Iron, and were excited to try it. We had a hard time pulling the cord out, Got kind of frustrating and finally time to start our steaming. We needed an extension cord to reach. oops. Cord wasnt long enough. We started steaming/ironing and it works great. This is a great product but needs some work on the cord. When we went to put away, the cord would not go all the way back in. Maybe this was a fluke one that didnt work, hope it gets fixed as its an awesome idea to hide the cord away.
