To be honest, I like my clothes to look great but am not a huge fan of ironing. Therefore, I was delighted to try this Light ’N Easy Compact Steam Iron which lived up to the name. Ironing was easy, and the light weight was much appreciated. The teal color is attractive, and the iron appears well built. It has a nice long cord so one can move the iron around the garment without issue. I tried this iron both dry and with steam, on a variety of fabrics from lightweight to heavier/denser, and manmade to natural fibers. It performed well on all. The water reservoir is easy to fill and empty, and because it is clear you can see how much water you have left at all times. The sole plate is coated and glides over fabric with ease. The handle felt very comfortable in my hand. I was surprised how quickly the iron heated up after it was plugged in; it seemed like seconds! I left the room to get more clothes to iron, I was gone probably longer than I thought I would be, and the auto-shutoff came into play. While I was coming back to iron, I think this is a good feature because it’s easy to become distracted with other things and just plain forget you left the iron on. I was surprised to find that it came back up to temperature quickly, so I was able to get on with my task. The spray mist feature is wonderful; it directs a mist of water for those stubborn wrinkles that need a bit more oomph. I found that it worked very well.I would recommend this iron. I have owned and used far heavier and less responsive irons in the past. This Light ’N Easy has the features I need, is easy to use, and the light weight doesn’t leave my hand fatigued when I am done ironing. This iron works really well. It is light weight. It easily glides over the fabric. It heats it almost immediately. The spray function works perfectly. The steam function works perfectly. Very easy to fill with water and easy to see when it needs to be refilled. I love the auto shut off feature and it works.

So, let me preface this by saying that I am not savvy with an iron, I am kind of a novice at the whole ironing thing. I was kind of excited to get the Black and Decker Light ‘N Easy Iron as my iron is literally from 1990. I was surprised at how light weight it was and I love the color! I had to do some ironing of a few dress shirts as well as some iron-on Girl Scout patches. This iron work ridiculously well! It glides so nicely over each item, leaving it crisp and wrinkle free. It even did a fabulous job on the patches! The Black and Decker Light ‘N Easy Compact Steam Iron surpassed my expectations and actually made me want to do more ironing, who knew!

I don’t use an iron often, but when I do, I have to iron multiple pieces. It’s not fun having to hang up a shirt to dry because the iron spit water all over a dress shirt. My last iron did more water dripping than ironing. It heats up within a reasonable time and seems to be pretty true to temperature(no worrying about it being too hot or nother hot enough!) The iron is slightly more lightweight than other irons i’ve used. It’s only a slight difference but still noticeable. The only thing I didn’t like is the way it looks, it reminds me of my grandmothers old iron. I’m definitely going to continue to use this for as long as possible.

Black and Decker is known for great products and this compact steam iron fits right in with great quality products. Heats up nicely and quick. I used mine in several different items to see how well it worked. Cotton shirts, button up shirts, jeans, jackets and ect. It met a 5 star rating for me. Love that it’s light weight and not heavy, especially on sore wrist like mine. It tells you the level on the iron to set it to for certain garments. Has a handy spray mist button to help get out wrinkles. This is a great quality product that I would definitely recommend.I recieved this product free for my honest review. This Iron is super, I mean it – if you are like me and have tons of ironing you will appreciate how light and easy to maneuver this iron is. My old iron was very heavy and after about hour of ironing I was sweating my arm was hurting and I was not very happy. This is game changer ! Smart steam technology is right on point as well just enough steam to press my husbands Military Uniforms do they look like from dry cleaners. Double plus is happy yellow color – no more boring white – nice to look at makes chore more fun ! Would recommend in heart beat !

I used this, and it worked well, except for the steam. I saw none at all. I cold hear it fizzling, but nothing came out, when I tried to get it to steam. So, cut off two stars, for that. I mean, what good is a steam iron, without steam?

I received this iron and was excited to try it out. The main feature that I was interested in was that it was lightweight. Just removing it from the box let me see how light it actually was. I wanted to test the steam function out and I was very happy. This iron gives off a good amount of steam which makes it even easier to iron clothes. Another feature I really like is that it has an auto shut off. I don’t have to worry if I get side-tracked while ironing; I just know that the iron will turn itself off. Overall, I really like this iron. It’s lightweight, easy to use and I would definitely recommend it to others.
