I was happy to get the opportunity to review this iron. My family is very hard on irons and they normally last a couple weeks since they either drop it or use it wrong and melt stuff on the plate. This was sturdy enough that they had to really hold onto it and it is perfect for all the clothing we have tried whether it is all cotton, a blend, poly whatever.

The Black and Decker Vitessa Advance Steam iron is amazing! A little bigger and heavier than my current iron but it is streamlined, modern, and up to date. Love the steam and mist feature (gets wrinkles out of clothes in no time!) Also, love the temperature control. One disadvantage is not being able to see the water level in the water tank through the color of the iron..mine being red. Otherwise, this is a simple and easy iron to use that makes ironing much easier and less of a chore! Fantastic!

This one is no exception. They have made some improvements, like the auto-clean option that is GREAT. It gives a steady stream of steam, glides effortlessly across all different fabrics, can be used as an upright garment steamer, but the BEST part is the retractable cord!! I will never again buy an iron without it (hopefully won’t have to buy another iron). Definitely recommend this iron!!!

I love how fast this iron heats up. You can hear the water steam while it is heating up too. The cleaning feature on this iron is a plus to all the other features. I just press the button and the hot water cleans the holes on the plate which is great for mineral build up. The iron does a great job of ironing my husband’s cotton pants and I only had to use the extra steam on the deep wrinkles. The auto shut off features are very cool to. The iron shuts off if it is left on its side or steel plate or if left unattended. That is great if I get distracted while ironing. No more wondering if you turned off the iron. The cord is long and does not get in the way. The only thing that needs improving is the water fill up chamber. I had a hard time sticking this under my bathroom faucet so I will have to use a cup to fill it up. The other features outweigh that though.While I received this product for free, the opinions and thoughts included in this review are my own.

Wow has the iron game changed since the last time I bought a new one!My first impressions out of the box: modern, sleek design, absolutely adore the colors, lightweight without feeling flimsy or cheaply made.I always read the enclosed manuals with any product before giving it an official test drive and reading through these features really grabbed my attention:I love that I can use this iron as a handheld (vertical steam) to steam clothes on the hanger. I have a lot of delicates that I’ve been afraid to apply direct heat onto so I was pumped to learn this.Another thing I love is the three way auto shut off. This is extraordinarily important to me! I’m a busy mom of three, sometimes things happen and you have to run to tend to a scraped knee, escaped pet etc and I’ve been known in the past to leave a hot iron sitting while in a frenzy to answer mom duties. Knowing that I have auto shut off on my side gives me peace of mind.On to the actual performance. Wow wow wow. I’m supremely impressed with the power this sleek little beauty delivers. It takes the most crinkled, wrinkled, wadded up and shoved in the back of a drawer dress shirt and makes it look brand new. It easily glides over most any material and the steam is dispersed evenly and smoothly making ironing a seamless breeze. It tackles denim just as easily as cotton and makes wonderful creases on dress pants. I honestly don’t know how I’ve managed all these years without my Black & Decker Vitessa.Bottom line, I would enthusiastically recommend this iron to anyone, its a wonderful product and pretty enough to proudly display in any laundry room.I received this wonderful iron free through the spectrum brands program in exchange for my honest review

I love this iron! The Vitessa Advanced Steam Iron has great features. It has 6 levels of heat, I use 6 about 95% of the time. I also use the steam feature on jeans and khaki pants(school uniforms). It has a bit of weight to it, which i like. I don’t feel like i have to do extra work to get the wrinkles out. The only slight problem i had was water leaking. I think it was from the water-fill lid not being shut tight(my fault). Another thing is that the cord is not very long for my preference. I am sure it is a standard length so you will hv to hv your board close to the outlet. I would recommend this iron, it is the best i have used so far.

I really love this iron and this is coming from someone who does not like to iron too much. It was easy to use. I especially love the fact that I can have my clothes hanging up and can steam the wrinkles out. No need to constantly bring out the bulky and cumbersome ironing board. This is a nice iron that is super easy to use. It heats up quickly and there is no problem with leaking water all over my clothes, like other steam irons. Using this iron speeds up my ironing jobs quite a bit, which is wonderful. The cord is long and the iron itself seems to be made very well. All in all, this is a great iron that works well and is convenient to use.

I have been using this iron for a week now and love it! I have used it everyday and love how well it works! The steam is really great at getting wrinkles out of my clothes on the hanger and off of it. When I am done ironing my clothes they look like they just came from the dry cleaners! I like this iron and its easy settings, it works great. However the upright steam leaves something to be desired. It’s intended use is just for touch ups, but I have not had success with this function, so would not recommend it for this feature. Based on just the iron itself I would recommend it for it’s ease of use and job well done.

I’ve really enjoyed my Vitessa™ Advanced Steam Iron. It includes a variety of features that add ease and convenience to ironing. First being the moisture controls that either offer a spray mist or a burst of steam, Use the iron vertically to steam. It also features a stainless steal sole plate which adds to the convenience of quick ironing and a auto clean system that keeps your iron good as new. But my favorite feature is the three way shut off, which is motion sensitive and shuts off the iron if it’s not in use for eight minutes on the heel or 30 seconds on the soleplate.Definitely the best Iron I’ve ever owned.

I received this iron a few weeks ago and sense then have fallen in love with it! Its so easy to use, even my teenagers can use it. With that being said it has a auto shutoff that shuts off the iron if its not in use for eight minutes. It has just one easy dial to set for your fabric and it glides right over your clothes. You can also steam your clothes on the hanger!

I received this in exchange for an honest review. I have to say after a really bad start (on my end. I forgot to remove the plastic before turning on) which resulted in some major freaking out and fixing. I don’t love this iron very much. It took a very long time to adjust settings just right and iron on some patches to my sons craft apron. Like over an hour. The steam setting made it too wet and then the dry setting (around 4) just didn’t get hot enough to adhere the patch. It was frustrating. I hope as it gets used more we figure out all the quirks. I wanted to love this iron but I give it 3 stars. Needs a stronger more intense heat.Also PS don’t be an airhead like me and not REMOVE EVERY PIECE OF PACKAGING. I forgot and didn’t see the plastic film on the iron part and plugged it right in. Pretty lucky I caught this in time!
