I replaced a much older iron with this. Even though the old iron was still working, this new one is doing a much better job. It produces plenty of steam and doesn’t drip water while I’m ironing.It’s got a large, wide surface but the tip narrows down to make it easier to get into tight spaces like between buttons. One really nice feature is the ability to use the iron as a clothes steamer on hanging clothes. It also has an auto-clean feature to avoid hard water buildup.Overall, the IR2050 is a very nice iron. It’s got a lot of features and seems to do an excellent job.
