This is a great jig saw for the money. I would double check the angles instead of just relying on the numbers in the window (but realistically how often do you make a bevel cut with a jig saw?.) The linefinder works well in low light although personally I would rather have an led light that ran off the saw power instead of AAA batteries. Also I would like to see a thicker baseplate with an open plate design. Having said that it is certainly useable as is. Built in dustblower, storage for 3 short blades on the tool, UV light, tool free blade insertion and tool free shoe angle adjustment – alot of features in this saw.

I got this to put in a cat door in an interior door, so I knew it would be hollow. It was very easy to secure the blade and following the template was a breeze. The saw was able to cut through both sides of the door without any problem. I don’t know how it does on thicker materials but I would recommend this product.

This review is for straight cuts only, no curves or bevels yet. It’s a good weight–substantial enough that you can guide it easily and yet not too heavy. The base that sits on the cutting surface is a helpful size. The guide is easy to see. Better than the Ryobi 4.8 amp that currently runs $50.
