I would recommend this cordless hedge trimmer for any person that needs a light weight portable trimmer with sufficient power to handle any hard to get bushes normally being cut with a power trimmer. Not having to plug in a 100′ cord for hedges in my yard was a relief.

This Black and Decker trimmer is perfect for shaping up the 25 abelia shrubs in my front yard. The lightweight, 20-volt battery makes this trimmer a breeze to use while providing plenty of power. And I can finish the job in about half the time that my old, corded trimmer required. Plus, I don’t have to drag an extension cord all over the yard and worry about accidentally cutting it! This is a great product if you just have a few bushes at home to trim. The battery lasted a surprisingly long time and it cut through everything I needed it to including the top of a tree in the backyard. If you do this for a living you might want to invest in something a little more powerful but otherwise this is a great product.

Reasonable price for hard to find 18” cordless trimer. Does the job but a little disappointed in its ability to cut larger branches. Not sure in can handle 5/8” branches as advertised. Would have preferred a little more power – ie. a 40 volt 18” under $100.
