Bought this for my 83 year old dad who was still using a Black and Decker plug-in hedge trimmer that my grandfather had originally bought! (Works great, by the way.) Dad already had a 40 volt battery grass trimmer, so this seemed like a good fit. Dad loves it! Easy to use, SAFE! Not worried about him cutting the electric cord or himself anymore. And it cuts thicker branches than his other one. It’s great!

I was completely surprised. This hedge trimmer not only met my expectations but exceeded them. The battery life was very good. There are battery lights on the battery that tells how much battery charge there is or how much charge is left. I trimmed bushes and shrubs for about 35-40 minutes and of the 3 lights, 2 was still lit. The charger also has a light on it that tells when the battery is fully charged. I’ve had this trimmer for about 10 days.I recommend this 40 Volt hedge trimmer.
