I bought this trimmer in 2018 along with the yard blower. The blower is merely adequate and fine to blow off a driveway or sidewalk. But the 40v trimmer is better than any trimmer I have ever used. Anything that fits in the cutter teeth will be sheered off instantly. I have yet to run a battery dead. I take it from my Naples, FL home to my PA home when I head north for the summer to use on all my PA landscape and my plug in Craftsman sit in my garage. Thats how much I love it. I plan to buy a second one for PA. Just spray the cutters once with WD40 for smooth operation. This really is a professional grade tool. I highly recommend this product.

I’ll start by saying I’ve never used a power hedge trimmer. But the thought of taking another 4 hours to hand trim 4 bushes made me ill. I did some research, didn’t want to use electric or gas trimmers, so battery operated was the only option. Gotta tell you, this hedge trimmer is light weight and powerful, with very little vibartion. The safety lock stays in place and releases as soon as the lever is released. Its quick to charge and held the charge to complete the task which took only 1 hour. Strongly encourage the purchase of this tool, especially if you’re dealing with a lawn full of greenery.

The 24 in trimmer allows great reach for thick shrubs / bushes. I trimmed 10 shrubs / bushes 4 times over 2.5 months on one battery charge so I would say battery life is long. This trimmer is a little heavy but 1 hand operation is doable… it makes very quick work of trimming.

Worked very well. It was light and fairly quiet compared to a gas trimmers. My arm didn’t tired. My shrub had many 1/2 inch thick branches and the trimmer cut them off easily enough. With the larger branches greater than 1/2 thick had to a little more to cut them off. I didn’t have to recharge at all after an hour use and it still had plenty of juice remaining. The trimmer appear to fairly sturdy and well built.
