I’ll start by saying I’ve never used a power hedge trimmer. But the thought of taking another 4 hours to hand trim 4 bushes made me ill. I did some research, didn’t want to use electric or gas trimmers, so battery operated was the only option. Gotta tell you, this hedge trimmer is light weight and powerful, with very little vibartion. The safety lock stays in place and releases as soon as the lever is released. Its quick to charge and held the charge to complete the task which took only 1 hour. Strongly encourage the purchase of this tool, especially if you’re dealing with a lawn full of greenery.

I was hoping the cutting speed on this trimmer would be faster than my old 24″ B&D Hedgehog corded unit, but it doesn’t seem to be. It does cut cleaner though and that is probably because they’ve improved the blade design over the years and it’s brand new. While it’s only slightly lighter than the Hedgehog, not having to drag a cord around is GREAT! I have some rather tall shrubs which require lifting the trimmer over my head and it is much less tiring to do this without the added weight of a power cord. Battery life if quite good and it recharges quickly. All in all, this was a good buy.

This thing is awesome! No more prep work, just pick it up and go. The battery lasted longer than I did! By the time I finished(45 min) it showed no signs of slowing down.

Worked very well. It was light and fairly quiet compared to a gas trimmers. My arm didn’t tired. My shrub had many 1/2 inch thick branches and the trimmer cut them off easily enough. With the larger branches greater than 1/2 thick had to a little more to cut them off. I didn’t have to recharge at all after an hour use and it still had plenty of juice remaining. The trimmer appear to fairly sturdy and well built.
