Bought a 40v Max, 24in seven years ago. Worked fine and electric motor finally smoked and burned up last month. Hope new purchase lasts as long. Great bush trimmer, lasts at least two hours per charge under heavy use. New power release when jammed is nice addition. Great product.

I used the original 40v hedge trimmer until it gave up…this newer model with “Power Cut” feature really does the job without having to stop and clear the cutting blades…..thanks for improvement!

It has more power than I do. I have used it twice so far without the power decreasing during use. The first time, I used it for 15 minutes 4 times over the course of three hours of brush clearing on earthen dam. The second time was a little less. It is well balanced and easy for a 55 year old woman to use.
