The trimmer works as advertised. It is quite powerful and allows reaching hedge tops that are otherwise difficult to access.The only downside is that it is a little heavy when this 82 year old man needs to stretch to reach over big bushes.

Good quality product and it did the job. It’s a little top heavy but not as heavy as another product I ordered and returned. So I would use it before you do any other tasks around the house and not when you’re tired….take breaks as the booklet recommends so you don’t get hurt.

This has good reach and power. I was pleasantly surprised that the battery lasted as long as it did. It did not cut as thick of branches as my corded one. I did not find a big benefit to the tilting part. What I would have really liked would be for the length to be adjustable so that close up work was easier to do and as many others have said, it is heavy at full reach because it is so head heavy.

Let me start off by saying I have been highly impressed with the BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX System. I am just a regular suburban dad taking care of the yard work and honey-do projects around the house. This entire system is perfect. I have even set up a charging station with a surge protector and that way I can charge all of these batteries at one time in the laundry room. If you are just doing regular yard work these tools are the way to go. The weed eater works perfectly for edging and weed eating. You will need to buy the unit with 2 batteries because I have a quarter acre lot and need both batteries to finish the job. But it takes care of everything perfectly and has enough power to make your yard look great. The trimmer works great so that way I can reach the tops of taller trees that we have in the yard. I never have a problem with power on any of these units. I was kind of hesitant about buying the leaf blower because of recent reviews but all I am doing is blowing the grass back into the yard after I mow at and this unit works perfectly. I switched to this entire system from using the regular corded Black and Decker tools because of the time it took me to wind up all the cords going from the back yard to the front yard. Since switching to this entire cordless system, I have taken off 30 minutes from my yard work time which is great in North Texas 100ﾟ weather. All of these units weigh a lot less than their corded counterparts which is a huge plus. Over all I highly recommend these products and give them all 5 stars. If you are just edging, weededing, and trimming your basic yard plants and grass, this system is the way to go. Good but could be better. It needs a smaller angle to help keep the cutter parallel with the hedge when standing close to the hedge. It would also have been a great improvement if the extension could have been removable and the head then attached to the handle to make a normal battery hedge trimmer…

Cuts really great and fast, my only minus would be that is is pretty heavy and after 1 hour you really need to put it down and get a break, my arms hurt, however it reaches far and would but it again

The trimmer does a great job trimming. I haven’t determined how long the battery charge last as I have only used it a few times . My only complaint is the trimmer gets heavy while trimming overhead for any length of time.
