This is a great little trimmer.Will trim grass and weeds as well as the much larger units .My only gripe is that the charger is so wimpy .It takes several hours to charge the battery.( which lasts about 20 minutes per charge)Buy it only if you have a small yard. Once you have discharged both batteries, you can Expect to wait until the next day to finish up.This is my second season of using this puppy, and other than the charger, I love it

I was worried that any string trimmer would be too heavy a challenge to me at my advanced age and decrepitude. However, I manage this very well. It greatly expands my ability to handle yard care tasks, especially controlling weeds. I do have trouble keeping the battery seated and engaged, but that may be just me. I’ve had it for three months, and I use it several times a week.

Purchased for my 84 year old father-in-law who does not want to give up HIS yard. Pull start gas trimmer was not happening this year so for the right price we gave this a try. His place is back to his standard now. He said he can do all the trimming on one battery (four to five trees and the house).

Neither battery would charge at all. B&D has said they will replace them but I haven’t seen the replacements. I did have one spool that I went through extremely fast but all other spools have not been a problem. I have had problems using off brand filament more than when I use the b&d filament.
