Someone swiped my original one, so I went and ordered a new. I think this one is even a bit better than the old one. I also ordered extra batteries as I have a lot to trim and needed the extra time. A good deal all the way around. I also found a .085 string that is about 10 times as durable although it requires a bit of filing to be able to wind it. What a difference! It ha a blue core and a hard clear outside. Something for the company to consider.

I have had Black & Decker weed wackers before and they last me a long time this one I didn’t have Harley that long at all in the in the bottom of it just kind of fell apart so in the spring I will try another one

The weed trimmer was perfect for my wife to use immediately. adjustments and operations were easy and the only complaint was no strap to help her with the weight of the trimmer when she used it for a long period. We have installed a DIY harness with a strap, and no more problems.

It’s my second one of these, I think I just wore out the first one, I use it weekly for both trimming and edging for about 30-40 minutes on the 4.0 battery. My only disappointment is that it did not come with the 4.0 battery, otherwise it works fine

This is my second one of the same model with the first one lasting just under 17 years. I was convinced once this one went I would replace it with a gas powered Model but there is just no justification for it this one does the job and does it well. I’m certain there are people out there with larger property then me but I have one acre fenced in with a lot of hedges, trees, deck and pool in other words I cannot complete any landscaping without having to do a lot of weed trimming and edging to complete the job and this has never failed me. So I have to change the battery half way through not really a big deal I have 4 one is always charged. Its worth every penny and extremely affordable.

This is the fifth one we bought in 12 years. The batteries last 3 or 4 years then do not hold a charge. We buy a new weed trimmer because it’s cost just as much to buy new batteries, unfortunately this one only came with one battery. We hope the 2.5 battery holds a charge longer than two 1.5 batteries. My wife likes the weed trimmer because it’s light and easy to use both as a trimmer and edger. It presently takes two 1.5 and two 2.0 batteries to edge and trim around 1,000 ft.

This product has done well for me. I have a gas trimmer that will handle much heavier jobs in my large wooded back yard area. But for my maintained back yard I am very pleased with its performance and particularly it’s light weight and ease of use. For weekly mowings I have yet to have to resort to a second battery. In spite of the single string (vs dual on my gas one) It takes about the same time to trim as my old one – this is based on it’s ease of handling. My only reason for 4 star is that it does not seem ready for heavy duty use – but I have not really tested it there yet.I also have the compatible MAX blower and hedge trimmer and they get the job done well. The hedge trimmer is quite impressive for it’s size and weight (5 Star) and the blower I’d rate 4 star for the same reasons as this one. This is part of the same system so I now have 3 batteries so I can always have power if I use one heavily. Bottom Line – For an easy to use system for normal lawn care these are impressive products considering weight and was of use.

This is my second purchase of this unit. It is a good product. I especially like the automatic feed and trimmer/edger. I use to wash off the unit after each job, however, I advise against that because I think it corrodes the motor.
