The trimmer was easy to assemble and what you’ll benefit most from is the functionality of this particular item versus other competitors. This resulted in my high rating and recommendation. You can quickly and easily convert to a trimmer or edger and the wheel makes it easier to create straight lines on a large variety of surfaces. It has a good amount of power too for a battery operated machine. I would say the battery capacity before it dies is the one downside. It is more than enough for a small to mid size yard, but with the med size especially larger yard will not be enough to trim and edge everything. You’ll be able to perform one no problem but will need to recharge probably before finishing up the other. Overall for the price, convenience, ease of use and functionality. I highly recommend.

Easy to put together and very easy to use. I’m a 68 yr old female, new to trimming and edging since we stopped our lawn service this year. I didn’t want to deal with gas and oil and pull cords. This is light and does a good job. I only use it on grass and the occasional small weeds.

I bought this trimmer/edger to use to edge and trim my yard. I have a relatively large area to trim and edge around multiple landscape beds. I love it. Not having to carry a heavy gas unit or lug around a corded unit is definitely a big plus. It is so light weight it doesn’t make the job harder than it should be. I am thrilled with the job it does so easily. If you have a larger area to trim or edge, you will want to get an extra battery for backup.

The extended run time battery is a necessity with the string trimmer. I do not have the smaller battery to compare but I think there is no way it would perform well on yard equipment. I was able to edge the 30 foot sidewalk in front of my house and 80 % of my 250 foot driveway on both sides. The line feeder works well.

Easy to use. Lightweight. Good battery and string life. However, does not have a lot of power when edging, but does the job for me. The wheel is a nice feature. One negative is the supplied charger takes a long time to recharge the battery. Overall, very satisfied.

Pros : Ergonomics are good. Have not tried the wheel section for trimming. Went together well except for the Phillips screw to attach the shroud. Seems like that was a bad design.Cons: Charger is worthless. Well, it will charge overnight plus an hour or so. I am worried about overcharging so I have to set the timer to check when I think it is close to being charged.Secondly, it is a lawn trimmer but not much more than that. I wanted a battery powered trimmer to avoid the noise and fueling of a gas trimmer and it does have a high and low power setting but it is not really a satisfying machine. Just guessing that the horsepower on this is 1/4 HP (Based on battery voltage, battery size and run times people have been getting. This is pure speculation but it does not seem to have enough oomph.Probably need to buy the quick charger for around $35 more. I have a corded GrassHog (7.2A) that destroys tough weeds but lugging the cord around is not a good point for that machine. The horsepower for this is around 1 HP.

When its working its great–has two, easy to set, positions for edging and trimming and enough battery power to do the job and the charge lasts long enough for completing the full edging and trimming. However, charging the battery is an adventure. In the year+ I’ve had it, the charger has had to be replaced twice because it won’t charge. I’m waiting for the third replacement and have decided to have a backup brand in case third time isn’t a charm. Customer-company contact has been great, a five-star plus, but I’d rather have better quality control for the battery charger.

I have been using Stihl equipment, but this weed eater I got for just around the house. Works great. Light an plenty of power. With the 3ah battery, I get tied before the battery does. That wheel for edging works great, on the concrete, but not so much for edging the flower beds. But the thing is so lite it really doesn’t matter. Really nice addition to my 20 volt tools.

I like this product. I have used as trimmer and edger, but the reason I bought was the mower attachment. I have a small hill and my regular mower is hard to use on. This solved the problem. Battery Good 15 to 20 minutes, did buy a fast charger to work longer. Trimmer works well!
