The Black and Decker sweeper was easy to assemble and is extremely lightweight. No it doesn’t have the force of my old Craftsman gas model, but then I don’t have to mess with the gas/oil mix and carry around an old noisy machine. The battery life last long enough to get the work completed. I’ve had it for a month. It performs exactly as I was promised. I recommend.

Good product, decent power for a battery powered blower. The power didn’t “blow me away”.. pun completely intended, which is why I gave 4 out of 5 stars. It’d be great for blowing grass off walks, blowing out a garage, cleaning off a back patio or porch. Definitely not powerful enough to use for fall leaf clean-up, but I think it states that in the description. I bought this as a Father’s Day Gift for my dad who has other B&D battery powered lawn equipment, and he is thrilled. It does everything he wants to use it for.

The blower was much lighter than expected and easy to use. Powerful enough to easily blow the debris off my deck and front steps, driveway and walkway. I have huge oak trees which constantly deposit leaves, pollen, twigs and acorns (depending on the season) on our deck and walkways. I am retired and 70,so a light weight yet powerful cordless blower was a great alternative to a heavy gasoline or an awkward corded electric model.
