A very good mower. The downside is it creates a lot of dust! Very powerful.

I really like the ease of adjusting the cutting length on this mower. I am 71 years old, and it is fairly easy for me to use. It does a great job.

Purchased the B+D MM2000 20” corded electric mower and have used it three times. Very satisfied and recommend.I’ve used a corded electric mower for over 45 years. Reasonably small yard and have the mowing pattern to play out the cord with minimal issues. Had a MM875 for 14 years that was showing signs of motor issues. Decided to replace. MM2000 assembly was easy – just attach the upper handle and, if you want to bag the clippings, remove the mulching attachment, set the height and it’s ready.Powerful. Handled damp, high grass without bogging down or clogging. Bag holds a nice volume of clippings. Reasonably quiet. Lowest handle height is a little higher than the old MM875, so that takes a little getting used to for someone on the short side. Other than that minor quibble, no issues. Even though much of the mower is plastic, including the handles, it seems well made and durable. Whether it goes 14 years remains to be seen, but at the price, it is hard to go wrong. Very nice machine. One tip: be sure to get a proper extension cord – 12 gauge (12/3). The Home Depot site will suggest a #16/3 100 foot extension cord (“Frequently bought together”). 16 gauge is way too small for 13 Amps through a 100 foot length. Even if the smaller cord does not fail due to overload, there’s a 10 volt loss through the 100-foot cord which will put a lot of stress on the motor. A 12 gauge cord will have less than half that loss – good for the motor.
