Easy to put together, thoughtful design and quality materials, easy to operate, does all three functions very well, like the self feeding feature, trimmer motor has enough power. Nice light weight, Each 20V battery has a long enough run time. My only concern is the black lower adjustable handle. Nice multiple handle positions but sometimes the black handle when set closest to the down tube ratchets back one spot more to the verticle. Overall a 4.5 star.

Have used it about 5 times now and overall I’m really happy with it. We have a smallish yard, so we get through most if not all on a single battery charge. It cuts well, though if the grass is very thick and wet, have to go over it twice and clear out the grass build up.The price point is right and being able to use it as trimmer and edger makes it versatile too.

Good little mower/trimmer, I have used it three times now. Our grass area is just about 300sqft with a sidewalk running through. The mower/trimmer is very light and easy to click into position on the wheel assembly. It mowes with ease, however, it does need two passes over the same grass to achieve a uniform cut. The edge trimmer works fine and it is very easy to reverse the twist handle and alternate between horizontal and vertical trimming. So, mowing the grass twice, trimming the perimeter along curb, sidewalk and along house takes me less than 20 minutes altogether and is done using only one battery. The two rechargeable batteries don’t indicate how much power they have left. The manual advises to always keep both batteries fully charged as they will last longer, so I have not found out yet how long it takes to deplete the power. The nylon string seems to feed itself out to the designated length without any need to manipulated it. The parts are all plastic and somewhat flimsy, so they can probably get in rough shape if they receive rough handling. I would buy this again, it is perfect for my needs.

Needed a small mower for my little back yard. Saw that Black and Decker came out with a 12″ trimmer (weed wacker). Looked at it and It was love at first sight. Told my daughter about it about it. She went to home Depot and bought it for me. Gave it to me for Mothers Day. Actually I use the trimmer for all my weed wacking. It is so nice and light for me, as I am 85 years young. I use the mower part for the smaller sections of my lawn. I’ve even taken it with me to my daughter’s house for the trimmer around her house, as she has a regular trimmer run by gas and way too heavy for me. Thank you Black and Decker for discovering something that is terrific for we oldsters

For a small yard it’s the most versatile lawn care tool. Light and easy-to-use. Stores in a very small space. Assembly was a little complicated.
