Plus, a special turbo boost adds a power boost at every mixing speed to combine thick ingredients in no time. This set includes two helix beaters, two dough hooks, and one wire whisk; allowing you to quickly create cake and cookie batters, bread doughs, spreads and dips, homemade whipped cream, or whipped egg whites for a tasty meringue. For how much power this mixer has, it really isn’t very loud … which is great! I was able to mix a batch of cookie dough without any power loss. It comes with a box that holds all of the attachments, so there isn’t any hunting in the drawer for a beater anymore! The only downside to the box is most of my cabinets are too short to store it in … by only about 1/4 inch.

This mixer sure does have the power….I was easily able to whip cream cheese straight from the refrigerator with out a problem! The 5 speeds is nice, you can start off super slow so everything isn’t flung out of your bowl yet there is a special turbo boost for super thick ingredients. All accessories are stored conveniently in the storage case, which uses the mixer itself as the snap-on cover. No more looking for the beaters! Very nice light weight mixer.

The Black and Decker Helix Performance Hand Mixer is hands down the best hand mixer I have ever owned. You can actually sit it on the edge of a bowl and use it that way, instead of holding it. So far, it has easily and completely mixed everything I have tried it on, including cake, brownie and cheesecake batter, as well as mashed potatoes. I love that all the attachments are dishwasher safe and can be stored inside the cover to the mixer.

I got this mixer to test for free. It works just fine. I worry about the nylon beaters holding up over time, but the other attachments are metal and work great. The snap on storage case is a bonus and makes it easy to keep the attachments together. Good amount of power with the 5 speeds, and easy clean up with the popping out of the beaters. All around a nice mixer.

The first thing I noticed about this hand mixer when I took it out of the box is how lightweight it is. (My old mixer is a little heavy). I have used this one a few times without any problems. I love the Helix blades. They do not scratch up my bowls and the batter does not splatter as bad. It comes with the Helix blades, a whisk and bread dough hooks. There is a snap-on case that stores all the accessories and then fits on the bottom of the mixer. It has 5 speeds and a turbo button. I have mixed cream cheese and shredded cheese together without any problems. I have also creamed potatoes and they turned out great without being lumpy. This will be my go-to mixer over my older one. I received this free in return for my opinion.
