The BLACK+DECKER Helix Performance Premium Hand Mixer features reinforced nylon beaters with 2x the surface area and 2x the mixing performance. The 250-watt motor runs at five speeds, including a reduced starting speed to help prevent splatters. Plus, a special turbo boost adds a power boost at every mixing speed to combine thick ingredients in no time. This set includes two helix beaters, two dough hooks, and one wire whisk; allowing you to quickly create cake and cookie batters, bread doughs, spreads and dips, homemade whipped cream, or whipped egg whites for a tasty meringue. All accessories are stored conveniently in the smartly designed storage case, which uses the mixer itself as the snap-on cover. The Black and Decker Helix Performance Premium hand mixer is definitely top of the line! This high-quality mixer whips up whatever you want in a breeze. From desserts to mashed potatoes, you won’t be disappointed. I especially love the case that just snaps on the bottom of the mixer to store all the pieces and the cord. It is very convenient. I dont like the pieces in my utensils drawer because they always get other utensils stuck inside the mixer pieces.

This mixer is wonderful! I love how easy it was to use and sit up! It comes with nylon mixers that work great, dough hooks for bread, and a wire whisk. I can be used with many different recipes and ingredients. It comes with a storage box that all the equipment fits in and the mix sit perfectly in and closes the box. It has 5 speed and a turbo boost. This mixer is very well made.

I love the retro design and compactness of this little mixer. I made the mistake of not reading the manual prior to using the product and made a mess in my kitchen. I used this to make a cheesecake, using the helix beaters. Big mistake. I should have used the dough hooks as described in the manual, for thicker batters. With the helix beaters, the cream cheese kept “climbing” up the beater and causing a huge mess! *see photo* Once I finally got the batter to a softer, more liquid form, the beaters worked perfectly. They would be great for pancake batter or standard cake batter. Next time I make cheesecake, or any cream cheese dessert, I will be sure to start with the dough hooks as suggested so I don’t have this problem again. As for the speeds, they progress adequately and are appropriate for each speed level (i.e. 1 is very low, etc) Some mixers I have used have a much higher speed for level 1, which is not conducive to keeping some mixers in the bowl. I also love how it comes with an easy to remove/detach compartment for storing the beaters. Everything is so neat and compact, and it saves space. Overall, a great product, even if the helix beaters make thicker batters climb out of the bowl.

I received this product for reviewing purposes and was somewhat disappointed in it’s performance. The Helix beaters work great for cake batter or eggs, but I wouldn’t recommend them for anything heavier. I tried using for creaming butter and sugar and it just didn’t mix as quickly as older mixers with metal beaters. The mixture kept creeping up the beaters requiring me to stop multiple times to push the mixture back down. The beaters can go into the unit only one way, so you have to pay attention to the notches on the beaters to insert properly. The helix beaters are kind of a pain to rinse too. I will use this mixer in the future for very light work, but use my stand mixer for the heavier stuff. It is handy storing all the beaters in the storage box, but the mixer doesn’t always snap tight into the box. I wouldn’t recommend this product for overall use.

We LOVE this hand mixer. We have not owned it long, but we have already used it several times, mainly to make cookies. We will definitely be trying out the other blades. We used the Helix blades, but this also comes with bread dough hooks and a whisk. The mixer is a nice size and reasonably light weight. Love the different choices of mixer blades. This mixer has 5 speeds all of which have a power boost. Starts smoothly to prevent splatters. I also really like that this mixer comes with a cover for storage that snaps on over the mixer and holds all the blades. The blades are all dishwasher safe. Definitely impressed with the quality of this hand mixer.

They easy and convenient storage of all the attachments makes this mixer stand out. You can actually store the mixer on the counter because it takes up hardly and space and looks sleek as well. The nonstick helix mixer attachments are awesome! They won’t scratch up your bowls and are so easy to wipe clean. The wisk is a bonus I didn’t know I was missing! My 13 year old daughter has enjoyed making all the internet viral whipped drinks. I haven’t had a chance to use the included dough hooks yet but we have gotten so much use out of the other two attachments that I consider them an added bonus.

I absolutely LOVE this hand mixer. It has 5 speeds and a boost button. It also came with a whisk and those metal things to make dough. This item makes it so much easier to make creamed/mashed potatoes, which is the main reason I wanted it but you can use it to mix anything. Definitely worth it!

This hand mixer is pretty cool. I wasn’t even sad to toss my old one. I like that it comes with different attachments. There are the regular beater attachments. There are dough attachments which are going to come in handy and a little whisk attachment. It is so easy to use and works great. The best part for me is it has like a little storage attachment. You can put on the beaters in and then set the mixer on top and it hooks on. It even fits perfectly like that in my cupboard.

I love love this mixer! It comes with a handy case and soo many attachments! It’s super easy to use and works amazing without the mess. I have a large mixer and it doesn’t work as good as this hand mixer. I absolutely love this. The features alone and all the attachments that come with it. Usually you pay extra for attachments, this comes with it. Good but for sure would recommend!
