We purchased this product a couple of weeks ago for pruning some seriously overgrown shrubs. It was a big job and beyond what we could do with a hand saw. We found this B+D saw on the Home Depot website and thought it looked perfect for the job. It was! We used it to cut branches up to approx. 2 1/2 inches diameter. The saw handled the task very well. (The specifications indicate it cuts up to 4 inches diameter, but we didn’t have anything that large.) The saw is quite easy to manage and was not overly strenuous for us (retirees) to use. We are very pleased with the results of our landscape job and give much of the credit to this great saw. We think it is a great value.
